Urban life has distanced us from the natural environment 

and the contact with nature has been relegated 

to occasional situations. Small urban spaces, pollution 

and lack of time make it difficult for many people 

to enjoy nature at its best. The Minigarden® vertical 

system was developed considering these dynamics. 

This revolutionary system allows the creation of green 

walls or vertical gardens, interior or exterior, adaptable 

to any building surface and small or large spaces. 

Minigarden® is an effective solution for a wide range 

of professional projects that require an efficient and 

beautiful solution, no matter the type of environment, 

size, outdoors or indoors. With unique characteristics, 

these green walls or vertical gardens are modular, 

adaptable and of reliable maintenance. No other solution 

offers such potential for the design of landscaping 

projects. In addition, the Minigarden® green walls

THINK DESIGN 

AND MODULARITY 

The Minigarden® Vertical System is a modular system that 

allows to “vertically” grow ornamental, aromatic and vegetable 

plants and herbs. Our system is freestanding, self- 

-draining and can be installed indoors or outdoors, offering 

growing conditions to a very wide range of plants. 

Its modularity allows you to design and install vertical 

gardens of any dimension very easily, leaving full room

Minigarden® Vertical System can be very easily installed in indoors or 

outdoors, embedded in or attached to any type of walls or gables. The 

assembly is very simple and intuitive. Its modular features allow you to 

stack it, both vertically and horizontally, in a single row or back-to-back, 

creating countless combinations.

THINK SUSTAINABLE 

AND DURABLE 

The ways in which Minigarden systems are combined are 

only limited by your imagination. Besides its modular features, 

you can also play with different plants and colours (1). On 

top of this, plants are easily replaceable after each installation. 

The Minigarden® is made of high resistance polypropylene 

copolymer and includes additives for protection against 

ultraviolet rays (2), which allows it to be used in extreme 

weather conditions (solar radiation and temperature).

It is also reusable, fully recyclable and fire retardant (3), 

with E Classification certified by laboratory tests.

THINK WALL FIXING 

AND SECURING 

The Minigarden® Vertical System can be very easily installed 

iindoors or outdoors, embedded in or attached to any type of 

walls or gables. 

The system’s simplicity enables an easy, systematic assembly, 

from the floor up, or from any height. For this, it requires 

a wall mount support at the base. 

Whenever needed, modules can be secured to a wall 

or substructure. This can be done using stainless steel M6 

screws (Ø 6 mm) placed through the round clips (Ø 7mm 

orifice) of each module or using Minigarden Fixers. 

THINK CLEVER WATERING 

AND FERTILISATION 

The Minigarden vertical gardening system comes with 

an innovative gravity drainage mechanism. In case the 

growing media becomes saturated due to excess water 

(from rain or watering), this one-of-a-kind system allows 

for independent drainage, from each module to the 

base tray at the bottom of the structure.

We developed a drip watering system to ensure that 

each plant is watered individually, using a 6.5mm 

diameter tube with drippers spaced every 22cm. 

This watering tube is placed inside each module and 

through the round clips connecting the modules. The watering 

system was also thought out to allow fertigation. 

For this, it’s only necessary to add a liquid fertilizer 

dispenser. This 100% automatized system enables a fertilization 

and watering process with maximum precision.

places as far away as Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, 

Jeddah, Toronto, Montevideo, Abu Dhabi, Santo

In collaboration with our international network of

DESCRIPTION 

Minigarden green walls that integrate delicately 

into the interior and exterior of a private 

house in Mexico, offering a decorative 

option that replaces a painting and becomes 

the work where the user is a composer of its 

own “vegetal art”. Accept the challenge and 

integrate these exquisite green notes into 

your daily life.

JULIETA RESIDENCE 

Installation: Garden Central Polanco 

Year: 2014 

DESCRIPTION 


The challenge at the Julieta Residence (Mexico 

City) was to ensure a green note at a relatively 

dark area of this living room. The closest 

window was at least 50 feet away. Only with a 

Minigarden this could be possible. Our vertical 

system provided the moist conditions 

necessary to support this green wall and make 

it thrive.

GARDEN ON A SMALL BALCONY

Year: 2016 

DESCRIPTION 

How to fit 36 plants in a small balcony with a 

view to a living room? Ask Daarq Arquitectura, 

a Chilean architecture, landscaping and interior 

design company that charmed us with this 

project in 2016, where they chose the Minigarden 

system to make a simple but colourful 

vertical garden on a narrow balcony.

VERTICAL GARDEN IN AN ATTIC 

Installation: Arboretum 

Year: 2019 

DESCRIPTION 

Gardening and landscaping project in an attic 

in Barcelona with a Minigarden vertical 

garden. The mission was to adapt two outdoor 

spaces for a family. In one of the terraces, it 

was decided to locate a Minigarden vertical 

garden on a wooden wall to provide vegetation 

and freshness, and because of its adaptability 

to any wall. A total of sixty plants were 

integrated to achieve the desired result of 

leafiness and greenery.

Year: 2015 

DESCRIPTION 


A unique installation with the Minigarden 

Vertical system that transformed a facade with 

graffiti and worn bricks of an old train station 

in Denmark (Store Heddinge) into an eye 

catching little spot with colourful flowers and 

fragrant herbs. A truly different view for train 

passengers and passers-by. We think that the 

final result is beautiful... What do you think?

a Portuguese beverage company. Living

DESCRIPTION 

Natura housing development, by the architectural 

firm Archetonic. This project sought to 

integrate large green spaces between housing 

buildings. The Natura Logo wrapped in natural 

vegetation represents the great nature that the 

residents of the complex access in the interior.

Years: 2016 / 2017 

DESCRIPTION 

With the help of Minigarden vertical systems, 

shops can be cosy and fantastic places, where 

plants grow both indoors or outdoors creating 

harmony between nature and people. For Arredo, 

it was important “that people understood 

that the lack of space is no longer an excuse to 

not have a garden at home regardless of the type 

of place in which they live”. With the vertical 

gardens, Arredo made their shops become magical 

places.

02. THE CASCADE 

Installation: 3G Office 

Year: 2013 

DESCRIPTION 


An inspiring area in a first-class working place 

where a door separates the technology from 

the magic (of plants). The soft, organic design 

and leafy dark green plants result in a natural 

arrangement whose descending order confers a 

dynamic scale to the project. Microsoft offices in 

Madrid. Project details: 250 Minigarden Vertical 

modules, 28 Minigarden Corner modules and 778 

plants were used.

03. WESTIN GREEN WALL 

Installation: Siji Greenhouse 

Year: 2011 

DESCRIPTION 

An inviting outdoor space in a walled 

in area next to a hotel reception. The 

demanding weather, which is extremely 

hot, and the need to maximise the 

available space led to a solution where 

plants are the main element to a 

comfortable area. The vertical garden 

which covers the bordering wall is the 

key feature in this place. Instead of a 

massive lacklustre wall, there’s a lush 

vertical garden whose aesthetic effect 

and freshness creates a green oasis.

DESCRIPTION 

Incredible green walls surround this office in Hungary showing 

that a work space can be both productive and eye-catching.

05. CHILE LIVING GREEN SCREEN 

Installation: VerdeActivo 

Year: 2013 

DESCRIPTION 

A comfortable setting in a multipurpose room 

that inspires rest, pause and peace. Passers-by 

on their way to southern Chile from Santiago can 

admire a green experience in the gas station on 

highway 5, kilometre 62. 


Minigarden is the perfect solution to frame a 

screen in this highway rest-stop, the quintessential 

place to take a break. Because Minigarden 

modules are perfectly fixed and the potting soil 

and moist exclusively confined to them, there’s 

no risk of damage to the screen due to humidity. 

The vertical garden combined with the screen 

enabled the creation of a mandatory stop where 

having a light meal is a unique experience - coming 

back is a must

06. VOLVER GREEN WALL 

Project: Alexandra Gameiro 

Year: 2013 

DESCRIPTION 

With Minigarden, Alexandra Gameiro recreated 

in a small courtyard of one of Lisbon’s best 

restaurants, Volver de Carne y Alma, a setting 

of harmony between the pleasure of tasting 

and the beauty of the plants. A vertical garden 

full of colour lines a metal wall that borders 

the patio. The plants claimed their dominion.

07. MICRÓPOLIS MONTERREY 


Years: 2014 / 2015 

DESCRIPTION 


Creating a garden in urban conditions with 

hot temperatures is a bit difficult. But once 

again our Minigarden Green Walls prove to be 

one of the most cost effective systems among 

the vertical gardens. Over 1,000 square feet 

of Minigarden at the Micrópolis commercial 

plaza in Monterrey, Mexico. The annual 

maintenance: less than 1% of the plants were 

renewed after more than 12 months.

08. TAN SON NHAT AIRPORT 

GREEN PIERS 


Year: 2017 

DESCRIPTION 

A total of 7 steel piers supporting an overpass 

at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Vietnam) 

greened with Minigarden vertical system in a 

rounded solution, creating a “very natural” look 

to the bridge. Vietnam is not only rich in natural 

resources, enthusiastic about people, but also a 

nature loving, environmentally friendly country.

09. INNISFREE SHOP LANDMARK 81 


Year: 2018 

DESCRIPTION 


In this South East Asia’s highest building, the 

impressive Landmark 81, we see lots of upmarket 

and luxury stores. Spaces where green 

is somehow missing. Minigarden Vietnam 

wanted to bring nature into the Innisfree shop 

at Landmatrk 81. Impossible to accomplish? 

Not at all! 

Minigarden brought a breath of freshness with 

nearly 1,000 plants around ININISFREE Cosmetics 

booth. Fresh air is everywhere… which 

creates a feeling of comfort. A beautiful and 

appealing green area where many consumers 

are pleased with buying these natural origin 

cosmetics enhanced by a naturalized environment.

and award-winning restaurant. Designed 

by Atelier Pod and installed by Botanic Maroc.

11. CORPORATE TOWER LOMAS 

CANDELA 


Year: 2014 

DESCRIPTION 

In this project, the client was looking for a way to 

hide large fans located behind a green patio. The 

Minigarden system was perfectly integrated with 

the existing vegetation both in the patio and with 

the surrounding trees, thus resulting in a space of 

relaxation and rest in the Corporate Tower Lomas 

Candela, Mexico Federal District.

12. POLANCO URBAN GREEN FACADE 


Year: 2013 

DESCRIPTION 

This project contemplated several blocks of 

stone that protrudes from the green wall. Minigarden 

lines of plant elements in rhythm and 

order gave that touch of perfection to this green 

project.

13. SHA TIN PARK GREEN WALL 


Year: 2010 

DESCRIPTION 


Sha Tin Park is a public park in Hong Kong. In 

the picnic area, by the Shing Mun River, the park 

management wanted to conceal a grey wall belonging 

to a technical space, and was looking for 

a solution to quickly improve this recreation area. 

As an alternative to a depressing wall, Caballo 

Living created a green wall with two intertwined 

hearts that served as a backdrop to many photos 

of newly wedded couples. This green wall was 

one of the first to use the Minigarden Vertical 

system, it was completely assembled in 1 day, 

and it was one of the first installed Green Walls 

in Hong Kong.

14. HANG HAN VILLA 


Year: 2018 

DESCRIPTION 

Green walls made with Minigarden 

systems in a Vietnamese villa. So perfect... 

Green plants cover the white 

walls. In addition, the arches look like 

naturally curved plants. Indian daisies 

run to the back of the house hanging 

up with 2 rows of stacked modules, 

creating a luxuriantly texture to cover 

the walls. Feel the luxury of nature.

15. JARDINES DE MÉXICO 


Year: 2014 

DESCRIPTION 


Jardines de México is located 130 kilometres 

from the centre of Mexico City and is one of 

the largest floral garden parks in the world. 

In a space of 51 hectares of which 37 are 

intended for contemplation. The exuberance 

of vertical gardening is well represented there 

through two very distinctive structures of 

green living walls, with the Minigarden 

system.

16. SUBENSHI RESTAURANT

DESCRIPTION 

With our vertical gardens in Subenshi restaurants 

(Porto and Aveiro), the aim was to create 

exquisite and distinctive features in the interiors, 

enhancing the experience of tasting intense 

flavours and amazing textures that Subenshi’s 

clients usually have.

17. HONG KONG GREEN ROOF

DESCRIPTION 


Living in a flat and having your own green 

place... a dream that became possible with 

Minigarden vertical systems by creating a 

green roof for a private house in Hong Kong. 

With Minigarden systems we can make it 

better and higher, with the investment still at 

ground level.

18. LAFONTAINE 


Year: 2012 

DESCRIPTION 

This Minigarden green wall carries around 

1100 plants. One of the interesting points of 

this project is that throughout its 7 years of 

existence only a few dozens of plants have 

been replaced. Quite a remarkable achievement, 

not an isolated case but very much the 

standard. Our vertical system is a platform, a 

system of excellence for plant growing. 

Amazing, right?

19. MEXICO CITY INTERIOR JUNGLE 


Year: 2015 

DESCRIPTION 


An exquisite selection of exotic plants created 

this gate into the “jungle” within a private 

house with a total of 60 square meters of 

green wall and 30 square meters of an interior 

patio. The Minigarden system was selected for 

being a proven long-lasting technology. After 

2 months of its installation and over 1,000 

plants fitted to the wall, a record of only 3 

plants showed difficulty in adapting and needed 

to be replaced.
