IMG Golf Event Ticket Terms and Conditions:
By purchasing tickets through the Solheim Cup 2019 website (“Website”), ticket purchasers agree to comply with
these Terms and Conditions and the website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, ‘ticket(s)’ shall mean any form of ticket for the Solheim Cup 2019,
including but not limited to general admission and hospitality tickets.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and may on occasion conduct security
searches to ensure the safety of spectators. The organisers shall also be entitled to remove anyone from the venue
who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who, in the reasonable opinion of the organisers, is conducting
themselves in a manner inappropriate to their continued attendance or who is in breach of any other policies put in
place by the organiser (e.g. those relating to mobile phone or camera use).
Tickets may not be resold, exchanged, or transferred. To do so, or to alter or deface any ticket, will render it void.
Admission will only be authorized upon presentation of a valid ticket and during such hours as directed by IMG from
time to time.
It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check their ticket, as mistakes cannot always be rectified, and the organisers
shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen tickets. By submitting an order for tickets the ticket purchaser
acknowledges and accepts that all details provided to the ticket issuer are correct and consent to the ticket issuer
providing e-tickets immediately following processing of payment.
Tickets shall not be used as prizes in competitions or as free “give-aways” without the prior written consent of the
organisers.
All sound and moving or still picture rights including, without limitation, television broadcast and on the internet,
rest exclusively with the organisers. Any material filmed or recorded at the event may only be used for the personal,
non-profit making enjoyment of the ticket holder. By entering the venue, the ticket holder consents to being
photographed, filmed or recorded as visitors attending the event.
Ticket Holders agree to adhere to any policies relating to mobile phone and camera usage put in place by the event
organisers.
No whole or part refunds will be offered.
CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
If a day’s play is cancelled in its entirety, so that no golf takes place, prior to the start of any play having taken
place that day then ticket holders (of all ticket types) shall either: (i) be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price
for that particular day; or (ii) subject to availability, such ticket may be presented for use on any subsequent day of
the 2019 Solheim Cup, provided that practice day tickets will only be valid on subsequent practice days and
tournament day tickets shall only be valid on subsequent tournament days. Notwithstanding the above, no refund or
reimbursement will be given in respect of any other expenditure whatsoever.
All claims for ticket refunds, exchanges or future discounts must be made no later than thirty (30) days following
the conclusion of the event by contacting tickets.solheimcup19@img.com, after which point no refunds, exchanges
or future discounts will be offered. Details of how to claim refunds, exchanges or future discounts will be provided
by the organisers on the event website.
Ticket holders, guests and all others entering the event (“Visitors”) acknowledge that golf courses and surrounding
areas can, by their nature, be uneven, sloping and slippery (particularly in bad weather) and may be unsuitable for
those suffering from certain health conditions. Appropriate footwear such as golf shoes or (flat soled) boots should
be worn, and care should be taken when moving around the venue, particularly in large crowds or on particularly
uneven, sloping or slippery areas. Care should also be taken around any temporary structures and cabling. Visitors
also acknowledge risks associated with flying golf balls and should listen for shouts of “fore”, watch for signaling of
the ball direction and take appropriate evasive action where possible. Visitors acknowledge that attendance at the
event is entirely at their own risk.
The organisers, their employees, contractors or agents will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage howsoever
caused to any Visitor arising out of their use of tickets, save for:
(i) death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, their employees, contractors or agents; and
(ii) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws, including the Consumer Rights Act
2015.
Ticket purchasers’ statutory rights as consumers in connection with their purchase of tickets through the Website
are not affected by these Terms and Conditions. For more details about what rights are available to consumers
ticket purchasers should visit the Citizens Advice website at www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising
herefrom shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. To the extent permitted in law, any
cause of action a ticket holder may have with respect to their tickets must be commenced within one (1) year after
the claim or cause of action arises.
If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by
reason of the law of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to
the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term or condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be
severed and deleted from that term and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and continue to be
binding and enforceable.
