& Bath Shoppe in the downtown historic
district, you will see a showroom
that welcomes you with gorgeous home
designs. What you will also see is three
People’s Choice Awards and nine Best
of the Southland awards hanging on the
walls, a testament to the company’s commitment
to quality.
John Cancialosi, president of Tinley
Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe, said receiving
the awards never gets old or routine.
“It’s a great feeling, true validation that
we are doing things right here,” he said.
Established success
At a time when the marketplace is as
competitive as ever, Tinley Park Kitchen
& Bath Shoppe enjoys a level of success
and recognition that has provided renewed
opportunities and longevity. The
company will celebrate its 15th anniversary
next year.
After 15 years of applying his skills in
the cabinet industry, Cancialosi opened
Tinley Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe to
help customers achieve their dreams in
rooms throughout their homes. The process
of designing a project and working
with people throughout the region has
never gotten old for him and he still finds
it very satisfying.
Cancialosi said he has seen generations
of customers over the years, with
children of his original customers coming
in for remodeling projects.
“The best thing is the repeat customers
we have seen over the years,” he said.
“They call us back when they move to a
new home, or when they want to remodel
another bathroom or kitchen in their existing
home.”
Difference maker
According to Cancialosi, when it
comes to getting things right and making
every project an individual source of
pride, it’s his team that is the real difference
maker for more than a decade.
“I truly believe the team we have assembled
here it what sets us apart from
all the rest, from the designers to the
craftsman out in the field. Everybody
realizes we work as one large team. I
have had the same people here for 12-14
years,” Cancialosi said.
Proven process
When you come into the showroom,
you will see many examples of the cabinets,
counters, tile, hardware, flooring
and other accessories offered by Tinley
Park Kitchen & Bath Shoppe. Cancialosi
said his team handles everything in the
process from soup to nuts, a true design
build company.
“We do everything from the moment
a client come into our showroom and
sit down with us to talk about what they
would like to see,” he said. “We put a
plan of action together, layout a design,
go through the proposal and contract
stage, and get them on the calendar. Our
craftsman in the field take over from
there.”
According to Cancialosi, projects
typically get scheduled between 30 to
45 days in advance. He says he is in the
showroom six days a week and he still
enjoys the creative part of the job.
“I think the best part of my job is the
creative process and seeing the customer
satisfaction at the end of the job,” Cancialosi
said.
