Regular, full-time exempt and nonexempt employees may carry over a maximum of forty (40) hours from the previous year. PTO carried over from the previous year must be taken by July 31st of the current calendar year– it cannot be deferred again and no payment will be made for unused carry over PTO. Proper desk chair posture 1. Adjust the chair height so your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are in line with your hips. 2. Sit up straight and keep your hips far back in the chair. 3. The back of the chair should be somewhat reclined at a 100- to 110- degree angle. 4. Ensure the keyboard is close and directly in front of you. 5. Sit at least 20 inches away from the computer screen. 6. Relax the shoulders and be aware of them rising toward your ears or rounding forward throughout the workday.
