The new academic session began with Fun Day<br />
comprising of a day packed with fun and<br />
innovative activities. The children had fun to their<br />
heart‟s fill and the school sealed it with a welcome<br />
gift and a balloon which the kids took home as a<br />
token of love. The happy faces of the students and<br />
the mentors alike were a treat to behold. It was a<br />
„Fun Day‟ with a difference.<br />

GLOBAL ASTRONOMY<br />
MONTH<br />
Celebrating Global Astronomy Month<br />
(GAM) with motto “One people, one sky”,<br />
Astro Kiosk was organized keeping in mind<br />
the progression in sphere of science learning<br />
and identified areas of Space, Science and<br />
Astronomy which we want to introduce to<br />
our children in each academic year of their<br />
primary school journey. The event was<br />
inaugurated by the school Principal Mrs.<br />
A<strong>nur</strong>adha Handa. Students and teachers<br />
enjoyed fun filled activities like Hydro<br />
Rocket Launch, Safe Solar Observation by<br />
solar viewer, lung capacity test, ring the<br />
planets and let‟s launch stomp rockets.<br />
EXPRESSING GRATITUDE<br />
Everyday becomes a good day if we have<br />
something new to learn. The assembly on<br />
the above said topic left the students feeling<br />
inspired for practicing gratitude in their<br />
lives. The learning was reflected when the<br />
tiny tots expressed their gratitude by<br />
writing thank you notes to each other.<br />

TEDDY’S PARTY(NURSERY)<br />
A day full of fun and frolic was reserved<br />
for the little Goenkans of Nursery and the<br />
new entrants to class K.G. in the Goenkan<br />
calendar as the „Teddy‟s Party‟ to provide a<br />
sense of warmth, love and security to them.<br />
MOTHER’S DAY<br />
To celebrate this day of love, the<br />
students presented an acronym for<br />
„Mother‟ and dedicated a special song<br />
and a dance to showcase their love for<br />
their mothers. It was an opportunity<br />
for them to honour their mothers.<br />

IMPORTANCE OF BOOKS<br />
To attract our little Goenkan geniuses to<br />
the divine world of reading books and to<br />
help them ignite their imagination, an<br />
assembly aptly titled „Importance of<br />
Books‟ was organized to encourage them<br />
to and make books their best friends.<br />
STEM WEEK<br />
To develop scientific temperament and succeed in this new<br />
information based and highly technological society students<br />
need to develop their capabilities in STEM. Topics such as<br />
internal vs. external science, Five Elements in nature and us,<br />
were taken up in classes and children were presented with an<br />
opportunity to ignite their imagination through different lenses.<br />

As an ongoing annual event, the school<br />
organized COEP, the Centre of Excellence<br />
Program for the students of Junior Wing.<br />
The week long program aimed at providing<br />
unique opportunities of learning, giving an<br />
exposure to wide range of skills under sports,<br />
co-curricular and skill development with an<br />
element of fun. The skill development clubs<br />
such as Experimentation Club, Math Club<br />
and I wonder why Club offered a wide range<br />
of activities related to the everyday life<br />

EXOTIC FRUITS AROUND THE WORLD,<br />
MANGO BEING THE KING OF FRUITS<br />
Mango Day started on a sweet and<br />
juicy note for the little Goenkans as<br />
they confidently shared the<br />
information on the importance of<br />
fruits in their daily diet along with<br />
the names and nutritional value of<br />
various exotic fruits available<br />
throughout the world. Interactive<br />
games like mango maze, pluck the<br />
mangoes and a mango photo booth<br />
added to the attraction and fun. The<br />
young Goenkans signed off the day<br />
with the much awaited mango treat.<br />
CREAMY DESSERTS & ICE-CREAM DAY<br />
Tingling the taste buds of the<br />
little Goenkans, the students<br />
creatively presented the<br />
assembly highlighting the exotic<br />
desserts and frozen sweet treats<br />
eaten all over the world, with the<br />
favourite being the ice cream. The<br />
major attraction of the day was<br />
the ice cream vending cart<br />
serving the yummy treat to the<br />
little Goenkans.<br />

carefully created in house<br />
handbook filled with facts<br />

THE ANNUAL AQUATIC CAMP<br />
A day full of excitement, fun and cheer, The Annual Aquatic<br />
camp with Malaysia theme was strategically planned for the<br />
students of the Junior Wing. Children participated in various<br />
activities such as Jelly Fish Race, Obstacle race, Pull the partner,<br />
Luck by chance and Pass the Mug. The vibrant swimming<br />
costumes and summer hats added to the fun.<br />

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATIONS<br />
On the auspicious occasion of<br />
Janmashtami, a beautiful temple<br />

opportunity to get a 360 degree view of<br />

included an element of rich Indian cultural<br />
heritage along with the International element<br />
