“Two improvised roads have been laid across<br />

17th, 10th and 4th fairways leading to the<br />

beach. Two hump-backed or “fly-over” bridges<br />

have been constructed over the railway to allow<br />

tanks, amphibious and landing craft to leave<br />

Dundonald camp.”<br />
