Xmas Appeal<br />
An appeal has been launched in time for the<br />
upcoming festive season to give less fortunate<br />
children a happy Christmas.<br />
<strong>St</strong>. <strong>Helens</strong> Baptist Church and the Capstone Project<br />
are asking for donations of new, unopened pyjamas<br />
and small selection boxes for children to open in<br />
time for Christmas Eve.<br />
Donations can be dropped off at the church on Hall<br />
<strong>St</strong>reet Thursdays from 11am-2pm and Saturdays<br />

A Polish <strong>St</strong>ory<br />
Momo’s on Westfield <strong>St</strong>reet will host a lecture<br />
this month, as Yvonne Taylor details her mother’s<br />
experiences of Siberian slave camps during WWII.<br />
It takes place on Tuesday, <strong>October</strong> 15 at 6pm.<br />
Crafty Christmas<br />
Keen crafters will flock to the Mansion House once<br />
more on Sunday, November 24 from 10am-4pm for<br />
a Christmas fair like no other.<br />
In the intimate setting of the mansion in Victoria<br />
Park, you can expect fabulous stalls offering<br />
handmade and bespoke gifts, cards and plenty<br />
more, with over 50 stalls. Santa will be tucked away<br />
in his Grotto for the little ones too!<br />
