This photo investigates the element <strong>of</strong> colour. This photo sucessfully reflects the element <strong>of</strong> colour because the bus is very bright<br />
with colours such as red, orange <strong>and</strong> yellow. These colours are an example <strong>of</strong> hue. The brightness <strong>of</strong> the bus leaps out to the<br />
viewer because <strong>of</strong> the not-very colourful background. It gives the viewer warmth.

This photo investigates the element <strong>of</strong> line. This is a very beautiful picture <strong>of</strong> the Bishop Tonnos turf being in use by a<br />
gym class. The picture was taken behind a fence, giving that beautiful turf a view through the lines <strong>of</strong> a gate. The lines are<br />
diagonal which adds depth into the picture.

This photo investigates the element <strong>of</strong> shape. The stop sign is a 2-D shape that st<strong>and</strong>s out in this picture. There is no other object<br />
in this picture, giving the 2-D sign the focal point <strong>of</strong> the picture. This stop sign is a octagon which is a significant shape represented<br />
in 2-D geometry. Therefore, this picture is a great example for the element <strong>of</strong> shape.

This photo investigates element <strong>of</strong> form. This picture focuses on a red car. The 3-D sculpture is emphasized in this picture<br />
because <strong>of</strong> the depth, <strong>and</strong> shadow <strong>of</strong> th car. Therfore, this car is a great example <strong>of</strong> form.

This photo investigates the element <strong>of</strong> texture. This picture shows the bumpy, <strong>and</strong> scaly texture <strong>of</strong> the tree bark. The pciture gives<br />
you a sense <strong>of</strong> touch becuase <strong>of</strong> how rough the bark looks on the tree. This is a great exmaple <strong>of</strong> texture.

This photo investigates the principle <strong>of</strong> emphasis. The bright yellow sunflower is dominanat over all the grass <strong>and</strong> dirt in<br />
this picture. It is also the only flower in this picture making it the focal point <strong>of</strong> the picture. The viewer will be directed to<br />
the sunflower instantly.

This photo investigates the principle <strong>of</strong> balance. The photo <strong>of</strong> the lunch tables <strong>and</strong> trees are in perfect symmetry. There is two<br />
trees on both the left <strong>and</strong> right side, <strong>and</strong> a bench perfectly placed in the middle. The picture has a lot <strong>of</strong> stability.

This photo investigates principle <strong>of</strong> unity. The flags are symbolising the unity that these countries/provinces have with<br />
each other. The flags also have unity in this picture becasue <strong>of</strong> the balance they have. It gives you a sense <strong>of</strong> oneness <strong>and</strong><br />
harmony.

This photo investigates the principle <strong>of</strong> contrast. The difference between the bright natural flower, <strong>and</strong> the metal human-made<br />
gate has a great contrast. Also, the colours contrast. The dull grey fence contrats with the bright pink coloured flower. It adds<br />
variety to the photo.

This photo investigates the element <strong>of</strong> space. The space is unused except for the single green leaf. It is a very open area.<br />
The postive space the leaf takes up is big, but the negative space is the backround that takes up most the picture.

This photo investigates the principle <strong>of</strong> movement/rhythm. The fan adds excitement to the picture becuase it adds a feel <strong>of</strong> excitement<br />
almost like it is a video. You can almost feel the wind that the photo is creating through the movement.

This photo investigates the principle <strong>of</strong> pattern/repetition. The red locker occurs over <strong>and</strong> over again. The pattern is<br />
consistent throughout the photo. Also, the floor tiles are repeating in a pattern throught the photo.

This picture investigates the principle <strong>of</strong> scale. The big truck side-by-side to the little car gives you a sense <strong>of</strong> the size scale. It is<br />
like a comparison between the two sizes <strong>of</strong> the cars. It is a great example <strong>of</strong> scale.
