Fifteen years ago, we produced our first Readers’ Choice Awards issue, which was the community’s opportunity to vote on who they believe is the best. It is the single most read and referenced issue we produce each year and we owe a very special group of people special thanks for making this issue happen–you, our readers! Thousands of readers cast more than 120,000 votes for local businesses and organizations this year. It’s hard to believe how much this contest has grown and how much it means to the winners and to the readers who source this issue (both in print and online) when making all types of buying decisions every day. We are proud to say that our Readers’ Choice Awards is the largest awards contest of its type in the Sacramento region. What’s most important to our readers is knowing their votes count, we don’t choose winners because they are advertisers. We don’t choose the winners at all. This is truly a contest voted on by the readers alone. We want to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate your readership and support of STYLE. We are truly honored and thrilled to receive the <strong>Style</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong><br />
Reader’s Choice award for the ninth year in a row as one of the Best<br />
Dance Studios in all of <strong>Rocklin</strong>, <strong>Roseville</strong> and <strong>Granite</strong> <strong>Bay</strong>! We are also<br />
excited that our very own instructor Carrie Pereira has won an award<br />
for a Best Dance Instructor as well. At Dance Elite we are celebrating<br />
our 16th year in business and offer top notch dance classes for all ages<br />
and abilities in a positive and professional atmosphere. We are known<br />
in the dance community as the “go to” place for any dancer who wants<br />
to receive excellent training from beginner through professional ages<br />
2.5 and up. We embrace and train recreational dancers as well as<br />
highly skilled dancers who want to pursue dance in college or a<br />
professional dance career. Many of our alumni company dancers<br />
have gone on to dance professionally for Disney, NBA and NFL teams,<br />
collegiate dance teams and dance programs, cruise ships and more.<br />
Our teachers are all experts in Hip Hop, Tumbling, Ballet, Tap, Jazz<br />
and Lyrical/Contemporary dance. Our trusted instructors and staff<br />
work hard to ensure that we are equipping our dancers with strong<br />
values and integrity along with learning proper dance technique. In<br />
February 2018 we opened our second location in <strong>Granite</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> to fulfill<br />
the demand for quality dance classes in that area. In January of <strong>2019</strong><br />
we launched DEA Fitness with classes for adults in Zumba, Hip Hop,<br />
Yoga & Heels. With over 150 classes offered weekly we are sure to have<br />
a class that is perfect for you or your dancer. Dance Elite is owned<br />
and operated by Faith and Curtis Knappenberger. Faith is a graduate<br />
of CSU Sacramento with a B.S. in Kinesiology/Dance and has danced<br />
and taught professionally throughout the United States. She is also<br />
currently a coach/choreographer for the brand new Sacramento<br />
Kings 916 Hip Hop Crew and Dance Elite is an official partner studio<br />
