In Lavenham Village Hall 10am-1.30pm. Awardwinning,<br />

voted best market in Suffolk. Over 35 small<br />

scale producers selling locally grown vegetables, home<br />

baked pies and cakes, Suffolk game, honey, chutneys,<br />

preserves and brewed ales. Delicious Farmers’ Cafe.<br />

LONG MELFORD FARMERS MARKET,<br />

12th October, 9th <strong>No</strong>vember, 7th December<br />

In Long Melford Village Hall, 9.30am-1pm. The relaunch<br />

of this village’s farmers market in February was<br />

a huge success and customers loved the range of<br />

stalls including fresh baked bread, honey, fudge and<br />

homemade cakes, cider, award winning meat and warm<br />

wild boar sausage rolls, beautiful plants and a small<br />

At the Village Memorial Hall (opp Bull Hotel), 10am to<br />

print and collectable books. Paperback to antiquarian.<br />

SOUTH STOUR CHURCHES FESTIVAL.<br />

30th September - 1st <strong>No</strong>vember<br />

A major arts, crafts, music and literary festival to<br />

be held in the 15 beautiful churches in the <strong>No</strong>rth<br />

Hinckford benefice on the Essex side of the River<br />

Stour throughout October, celebrating the diversity of<br />

local talent in the creative arts in our 15 communities.<br />

A diverse programme of events will be hosted in<br />

the inspiring 15 beautiful iconic churches set in the<br />

stunning countryside of the South Stour Valley. All<br />

events free to attend, although any donations to the<br />

Christmas Lantern Tour starting from The Swan<br />
