“You’re made by God, for God.
- Bro. Audee Villaraza
SCENES FROM LAST SUNDAY
Prayer:
Jesus, I want to
move forward
with a brand-new
beginning. I want
to live for You. I
want to love You.
Take all of me, my
mind, heart and
soul. Make me a
blessing in this
world. Amen.
RECAP
HOMILY
The Gospel According to Luke 16:19-31//
The Rich Man and Lazarus
“Kapwa ko,
pananagutan ko.”
- Fr. Michael La Guardia
Guest preacher Bro. Tony Valenzuela, builder of
Youth Home, tells Feasters that we must be for
God’s exclusive use; for His purpose alone.
Many Lazaruses are around us– those who hunger for food, attention, love and
support. When you see one, grab the opportunity to reach out with a helping
hand for you’ll never know when that chance will come again.
“The pain of Cavalry was
more bearable to Jesus than
the apathy of those who did
not notice the unnoticeable.”
-Fr. Bob McConaghy
Apathy or indifference is a sin we commit whenever we close our eyes
to those who call for help.
TALK
Ways of the Saints
How to Be God’s Representative on Earth
Talk 1: Hagios
Big Message: You are set apart for God’s use only.
Hagios. It means to be set apart. God created us for His use.
For the Lord’s Purpose. To fulfill His purpose, be determined to navigate
through your spiritual journey despite the tough and confusing times.
Guidelines for our lifelong journey:
Thank you, Feasters, for answering the call to bless others
with your blood donation. God bless you more!
1. Follow God’s Ways
• Use the Map of God’s Word —the Bible. The Bible is our spiritual
map. Like signposts, His Word keeps us from getting lost. Read the Bible
every day and let its message seep through your heart for guidance and
direction.
• Community of Users —the Church. The more connected we are with
others, the more we can be guided on our discernment process. Sole
interpretation of the Bible can be dangerous. Part of our community are
the saints, whose examples we can all look at for inspiration.
2. Know our destination. We are destined to be with God in Heaven. To get
to Heaven, we must become saints. How? By making ourselves available for the
exclusive use and purpose of God. It means loving Him above all.
Designed to Love. The reason a lot of people are not happy is that they are
doing things they are not made for. Fulfill the ultimate design of your life — love
God and others. Be the saint you’re meant to be.
