MATTHEW CAMPBELL
The College provides its students with
many opportunities to learn in the
classroom but also to serve on campus.
As a student it has been my experience
that learning and serving go very much
hand in hand.
Being part of the Bible College means
being part of a community, and there
are many different aspects to community
life that all students are invited to take
part in. Every Tuesday at 12pm, the staff
and students meet to worship God. I
have come to learn that in our worship
services we don’t disengage our brains,
but rather our acts of worship and
what we have learned in the classroom
complement each other in how we
continually get to know our God more
and more.
Community life provides ways for
students to serve, through leading
worship, leading fellowship groups,
sharing in chapel and other practical
ways. There is fantastic pastoral support
on campus with a team of people with
willing ears to listen and give support.
As a community, we strive to love one
another in a way that demonstrates
Christ-likeness.
The Student Committee works for
students and helps them in many ways,
but primarily our aim is to provide
opportunities for students so that they
engage and get involved in community
life. Student Committee oversee
a number of great student events
throughout the year: from the welcoming
Castlewellan retreat at the beginning
to the celebratory Student Formal
at the end.
