BLADES & AVALANCHE HOCKEY PROGRAM<br />

Campbell County Parks and Recreation will be offering a Blades and Avalanche Hockey program at<br />

the Spirit Hall Ice Arena for all youth ages 5 - 8 years old. The program is designed for all levels of<br />

participants to be able to learn the game of hockey and practice skills. Registration will be held<br />

November 18 – January 5 at the Recreation Center. To be eligible to play in the Blades and Avalanche<br />

hockey program you MUST be 5 years old by January 13, <strong>2020</strong> and able to skate. If participant<br />

cannot skate, he/she will be moved down to the Learn to Skate program. The fees are $30 per child,<br />

per session. Need hockey equipment? Rental equipment will be available for an extra fee of $55.<br />

Rental equipment includes: Helmet with face mask, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, hockey<br />

pants, shin guards and skates.<br />

Concurrent enrollment in Blades/Avalanche and any Learn-to-Skate program is not allowed.<br />

All participants MUST show up fully dressed in hockey gear (including mouth guard and stick) being<br />

ready to skate on Monday, January 13. Coaches reserve the right to move or change participants in<br />

groups throughout the session.<br />
