refer a cardinal:
Referring a friend or family
member to join the Cardinal
Club is a great way for us to
grow our membership base.
We want everyone to be
a part of our success! For
referring a new member to
the Cardinal Club, we will
provide you with a $100
Gift in Kind credit to your
membership account.
gift transfers:
A gift of appreciated stocks
or bonds, which have been
owned for more than one
year, can provide special tax
advantages.
Matching Gifts:
A matching gift is an
opportunity for the donor’s
employer to match the gift
made by the donor, up to
a certain percentage. It is a
great program that provides
a greater impact on the
Lamar University studentathletes,
through corporate
support. Please consult the
benefits office at your place
of employment to see if you
are eligible for their matching
gift program.
planned gifts:
While outright gifts provide
vital resources for the
university immediately,
deferred gifts help to shape
and strengthen Lamar
University Athletics’ future.
