Charity Grotto<br />
<strong>Local</strong> charity the HoneyRose Foundation is opening<br />
a Santa’s Grotto for three days only in December.<br />
The charity, which helps grant wishes for people<br />
over 40 suffering from cancer and other lifethreatening<br />
illnesses, invites children to come<br />
and meet Father Christmas and receive a special<br />
present.<br />
Entry costs £5 per child, and the grotto opens<br />
from 10am-1pm from Thursday, December 5 until<br />
Saturday, December 7 at the shop on Cotham<br />
<strong>St</strong>reet.<br />
Get Crafty<br />
<strong>St</strong>. Mary’s Market will host a tabletop craft sale<br />
every Saturday until Christmas.<br />
The market will take place at <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s Market event<br />
space from 9am-3pm each weekend - for details, or<br />

Christmas Appeal<br />
Teardrops Supporting the Homeless have launched<br />
their Christmas appeal - they’re especially looking<br />
for new toys, toiletries, tinned food, gift bags,<br />
wrapping paper, gift sets and presents for all ages.<br />
Hampers and gifts will be distributed around the<br />
most vulnerable people in the community to bring<br />
some cheer during the festive period.<br />
Donations can be dropped off at the Teardrops<br />
Hub on Crab <strong>St</strong>reet, Classy Cuts in the town centre,<br />
REDS Cafe & Takeaway in Rainford, or at Bromdales<br />
Ironing Service in Haresfinch.<br />
