The EDS ® Water Management System is a
piece of modular training equipment which
simulates the core processes of water and
wastewater treatment plants. It delivers a
solid introduction into process automation
and closed-loop control technology.
The EDS ® Water Management System
consists of four water stations: Water
Purification, Water Supply, Wastewater
Transport, and Wastewater Treatment.
Two filtration stations can be added to
the training system: Sand Filtration and
Membrane Filtration.
All components of the training equipment
largely correspond to their “real-life”
counterparts. A Windows-based PC tool
depicts the equipment modules and
processes. By carrying out practical
exercises and experiments, the trainees gain
practical knowledge and become aware of
how individual processes and actions in one
section influence the overall system.
A complete range of training courses
is available to address the qualification
demands of technical staff and supervisors
of wastewater treatment plants.
Das EDS ® Water Management System ist ein
modulares Trainingsgerät zur Simulation der
Kernprozesse von Wasseraufbereitungsanlagen
und Klärwerken. Es bietet eine solide
Einführung in die Prozessautomation und die
Regelungstechnik.
Das EDS ® Water Management System
besteht aus vier Stationen: Wasseraufbereitung,
Wasserversorgung, Abwassertransport
und Abwasserbehandlung. Das
Schulungs system kann um zwei Filtrationsanlagen
erweitert werden: Sandfiltration und
Membranfiltration.
Alle Komponenten der Trainingsgeräte entsprechen
weitestgehend ihren „echten“
Gegenstücken. Ein Windows-basiertes PC-
Werkzeug stellt die Gerätemodule und Prozesse
dar. Durch praktische Übungen und
Experimente erwerben die Kursteil nehmer
praktisches Wissen und erfahren, wie sich
einzelne Prozesse und Handlungen in einem
Bereich auf das Gesamtsystem
auswirken.
Es besteht zudem ein umfassendes Angebot
an Schulungs kursen, welches sich an die
Qualifizierungs anforderungen der technischen
Mitarbeiter und leitenden Angestellten
von Klärwerken richtet.
