This course is equivalent to two A Levels.<br />

There will be eight units taught and assessed:<br />
Sport and Exercise Physiology (90 min exam)<br />
Functional Anatomy (90 min exam)<br />
Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology (2 hour exam Case Study)<br />
Coaching for Performance and Fitness<br />
Field and Lab based testing Research Methods<br />
2 units from:<br />
Specialised Fitness Training Research Project Physical Activity for individual and group<br />
exercise<br />
Level 3 Extended Certificate<br />
This course is equivalent to one A Level.<br />

Where can I go from here?<br />
This course provides pathways into University to study for teaching, Sports Science or other<br />
degrees. It is also well suited to other areas such as: Paramedical, Occupational Therapy,<br />
HM Forces or the Sports and Leisure industries.<br />
