New Middle School Electives Promote
Student Choice
At the start of last year, the Middle School implemented
a new rotating schedule for students, allowing for longer
classes and more in-depth learning. Another advantage
to the new schedule, Seven Hills was able to offer student
elective classes for the first time, to increase student
choice and voice into the overall learning experience. From
magazine making, to “garden and egg,” to band and vocal
ensemble, these weekly elective classes have become a
popular opportunity to connect with faculty, with each other,
and with a new passion.
