DEVELOPMENT TOUR<br />
Pack your bags and head off on the road trip<br />
of a life time with <strong>20</strong>-22 senior 4-H members<br />
through northern <strong>Alberta</strong> and the Northwest<br />
Territories. You will travel by bus and stop at<br />
various landmarks and agriculture centres,<br />
all while camping each night amidst the<br />
beautiful northern scenery. Though you<br />
will depart as strangers, you will return<br />
as a family. This year’s route and ultimate<br />
destination have yet to be determined but<br />
more information will be made available<br />
closer to the Selections program.<br />

4-H CANADA<br />
CITIZENSHIP CONGRESS<br />
Chaperone 4-H <strong>Alberta</strong>’s seven participants<br />
at the 4-H Canada Citizenship Congress.<br />
While at the program, participants<br />
will deepen their understanding of<br />
governance and public policy, nurture your<br />
communication skills, and expand their<br />
horizons as they discover some of what it<br />
means to be Canadian in the nation’s capital.<br />
Workshops will culminate with the annual<br />
debate where 4-H members will construct<br />
insightful arguments, and practice skills of<br />
persuasion and public speaking.<br />
