my Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all

souls to heaven, especially those who have most need of Thy mercy.

God, Whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection,

has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech

Thee, that while meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary

of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain

what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Indulgenced Prayer to Saint Joseph

o thee, O blessed Joseph, do we have recourse in our tribulation, and

having implored the help of thy thrice-holy Spouse, we confidently

invoke thy patronage also. By that charity wherewith thou wast united to

the immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by that fatherly affection with

which thou didst embrace the Child Jesus, we beseech thee and we humbly

pray, that thou wouldst look graciously upon the inheritance which Jesus

Christ hath purchased by His Blood, and assist us in our needs by thy power

and strength. Most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family, protect the

chosen people of Jesus Christ; keep far from us, most loving father, all blight

of error and corruption: mercifully assist us from heaven, most mighty

defender, in this our conflict with the powers of darkness; and, even as of

old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the supreme peril of His life, so

now defend God’s Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from

all adversity; keep us one and all under thy continual protection, that we

may be supported by thine example and thine assistance, may be enabled

to lead a holy life, die a happy death, and come at last to the possession of

Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

sweet Jesus, Whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so

much forgetfulness, negligence, and contempt, behold us prostrate

before Thine altar eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel

indifference and injuries, to which Thy loving Heart is everywhere subject.

Mindful alas! that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities,

which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask Thy

pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation not only

for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those, who, straying

far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow

Thee, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the vows of their baptism,

have cast off the sweet yoke of Thy law.

We are now resolved to expiate each and every deplorable outrage

committed against Thee; we are determined to make amends for the

manifold offenses against Christian modesty in unbecoming dress and

behavior, for all the foul seductions laid to ensnare the feet of the innocent,

for the frequent violation of Sundays and holy days, and the shocking

blasphemies uttered against Thee and Thy Saints.

We wish also to make amends for the insults to which Thy Vicar on

earth and Thy priests are subjected; for the profanation, by conscious neglect

or terrible acts of sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of Thy divine Love; and

lastly for the public crimes of nations who resist the rights and teaching

authority of the Church which Thou hast founded.

Would, O divine Jesus, we were able to wash away such abominations

with our blood! We now offer, in reparation for these violations of Thy

divine honor, the satisfaction Thou didst once make to Thine eternal Father

on the cross and which Thou dost continue to renew daily on our altars; we

offer it in union with the acts of atonement of Thy Virgin Mother and all

the Saints and of the pious faithful on earth; and we sincerely promise to

make recompense, as far as we can with the help of Thy grace, for all neglect

Henceforth we will live a life of unwavering faith, of purity of conduct, of

perfect observance of the precepts of the gospel and especially that of

charity.

God of Infinite Majesty, behold at Thy feet a traitor who has again

thee, Infinite Goodness.

I love Thee O Sovereign God and because I love Thee, I repent of all my

offences against Thee. I have turned my back upon Thee. I have despised

thy grace, Thy friendship in a word. O Lord, I have willfully lost Thee. For

the love of Jesus Christ, forgive me all my sins, I repent of them with my

whole heart, I hate, I detest them, I abhor them more than all other evils. I

repent not only of my mortal but also my venial sins which likewise

displease Thee.

I propose for the future, with the help of Thy grace, to never more

gracious Lord Jesus Christ, I, a sinner, not presuming on my own

Act of Consecration of the Human Race

to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

ost sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us

humbly prostrate before Thine altar. We are Thine, and Thine we

wish to be; but, to be more surely united with Thee, behold each one of us

freely consecrates himself today to Thy most Sacred Heart.

Many indeed have never known Thee; many too, despising Thy precepts,

have rejected Thee. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw

them to Thy Sacred Heart.

Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken

Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee; grant

that they may quickly return to their Father’s house lest they die of

wretchedness and hunger.

Be Thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions, or

whom discord keeps aloof, and call them back to the harbor of truth and

unity of faith, so that soon there may be but one flock and one Shepherd.

Be Thou King of all those who are still involved in the darkness of

idolatry or of Islamism, and refuse not to draw them all into the light and

Kingdom of God.

Turn Thine eyes of mercy towards the children of that race, once Thy

chosen people, of old they called down upon themselves the Blood of the

Savior; may It now descend upon them a laver of redemption and of life.

Grant, O Lord, to Thy Church assurance of freedom and immunity from

harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from

pole to pole with one cry: Praise be to the divine Heart that wrought our

salvation; to It be Glory and honour for ever. Amen.

Prayer of Father Olier

Jesus! living in Mary, come and live in Thy servants, in the Spirit of

Thy Holiness, in the Fullness of Thy Power, in the reality of Thy

Virtues, in the Communion of Thy Mysteries. Have dominion over every

adverse power, in Thy Spirit, to the glory of the Father. Amen.

Prayer for Priests

Almighty and Eternal God, look upon the Face of Thy Christ, and

for love of Him Who is the eternal High-priest, have pity on Thy

priests. Remember, O most compassionate God, that they are but weak and

frail human beings. Stir up in them the grace of their vocation which is in

them by the imposition of the Bishop's hands. Keep them close to Thee,

lest the enemy prevail against them, so that they may never do anything in

the slightest degree unworthy of their sublime vocation.

O Jesus, I pray Thee for Thy faithful and fervent priests; for Thy

unfaithful and tepid priests; for Thy priests laboring at home or abroad in

distant mission fields; for Thy tempted priests; for Thy lonely and desolate

priests; for Thy young priests; for Thy aged priests; for Thy sick priests; for

Thy dying priests; for the souls of Thy priests in purgatory.

But above all I commend to Thee the priests dearest to me: the priest

who baptized me; the priests who absolved me from my sins; the priests at

whose Masses I assisted and who gave me Thy Body and Blood in Holy

Communion; the priests who taught and instructed me or helped me and

encouraged me; all the priests to whom I

am indebted in any other way, particularly

(your priest’s name here). O Jesus, keep

them all close to Thy heart, and bless them

abundantly in time and in eternity. Amen.
