Word of Peace Gala 2019: Winter Wonderland In November, the Word of Peace community gathered together at The Crown Room at The Wellstead of Rogers for the third annual Word of Peace Gala. This special evening made a strong impact to strengthen our mission of welcoming all people, sharing Christ through our words and actions, caring for others, and working for justice and peace. Our Gala committee created a beautiful evening of fun, fellowship, dinner, games and entertainment. This year’s gala raised over $43,000, including $10,00 for Word of Peace educational ministry scholarships and local benevolence. We would like to thank the amazing Gala committee, our generous sponsors, our host for the evening, Jamie Guse, the church staff, and everyone who donated money and items for the silent auction. And, most importantly, we thank all of you who attended the gala and supported the event. Through your overwhelming generosity, we are able to continue to develop the mission and ministries of Word of Peace. 8
