The Perfect Wedding Favour or Attendent Gift:
Cookies for Occasions
By Pauline Matterson
TPM has sought out the professional baking skills of Caroline at The Kitsch-Hen, a UK biscuit company
creating customized biscuits, to find out all the many ways we can use edible favours as wedding
décor items. We say it’s for research and the sake of being eco-lux but really, who doesn’t love yummy
cookies?
Edible details add a personal touch to any of your wedding events from favours to save-the-dates and
even edible invitations (fear not, The Kitsch-Hen includes a postcard with all the details for the last
two).
“We can stamp any message on a wedding favour biscuit – often it’s the bride and
grooms’ names and the wedding date, a little message of love like ‘Happily Ever
After’ or ‘Best Day Ever’ or combining favours and place settings in one with each
biscuit stamped with the guest’s name.”
One sweet moment made even sweeter is the asking of dear friends and family members to be part of
the bridal party. Your bridesmaids and flower girls are sure to say yes when asked by way of a box of
iced biscuits.
“The true joy of what I do is in the biscuits I send out to give someone a bit of edible
inspiration, sent to make them smile.”
Afternoon tea bridal shower with quaint biscuit favours? Don’t mind if I do!
Engagement parties and place settings? Positively decadent!
The Kitsch-Hen will work with you to create your very own message and flavour combinations. Contact
Caroline at hello@the-kitsch-hen.co.uk or visit www.the-kitsch-hen.co.uk to order your personalized
biscuits and for a sample box.
