Key networks
As mentioned earlier (see Chapter 7), Myanmar has active civil society organisations which work hard
for the fulfilment of women’s and marginalized groups’ rights. Here is a listing of NGOs that you can
turn to when looking for information on issues to do with gender equality, empowering women and
people belonging to minority groups, and inclusive peace processes:
