Leading The Way to a Healthier Tomorrow.To ensure the long-term health of our community remainsrobust, St. Joseph’s/Candler partners with a wide varietyof educational institutions that inspire, train, and mentor anew generation of healthcare leaders.One of those leading partnerships is with The MedicalCollege of Georgia (MCG) School of Medicine.For more than a decade, St. Joseph’s/Candler hasserved as a site of the Southeast Georgia Clinical Campusof Medical College of Georgia training third- andfourth-year medical students through clinical rotationsunder the mentorship of private volunteer physicians.This hospital-based, hands-on educational experienceallows students to train with highly skilled specialists,video conference with other MCG campuses, conferwith professors and visiting professors, take tests andmaximize their participation with colleagues on othercampuses throughout the state.It’s just one of the manyways St. Joseph’s/Candler works toprotect the health andwellbeing of our communityand its future.sjchs.org
