for the year. For us, it is more than a slogan; it
is the philosophy that binds us, makes us
stronger. We seek to build a culture where
there are no stereotypes. We want to forge a
collective mind-set that not just accepts
differences, but celebrates them. We pledge to
be united in this mission to recognise, respect
and reward diversity.
‘Stronger Together’ was our vision and tag line.
We want to embrace a new and different way
in everything we do. That is the very core of
our 'We Different' programme.

Hexaware culture is inclusive - we don't just accept
differences; we celebrate them. It is our unique
individuality that powers Hexaware forward; our diversity
is our strongest asset. This year, we celebrated the
different facets that make us stronger together by pasting
our hand prints on canvas and signing it off with ‘What
diversity means to us’ in different colours across all
global locations. The immense participation for this
celebration is testimony to the variety that makes
Hexaware such an exciting place.

Hexaware's own twist on Empowering Women.
It was an initiative that kicked off during
Women's Day but drives the crucial agenda of
gender inclusivity. Taking off from the ‘Wonder
women of Hexaware’ initiative where women
shared ideas on empowerment, the special
coding challenge was launched for women
challengers. Hexaware is breaking new ground
by expressing the power of their women!

Humans of Hexaware is a treasure trove of beautiful and
inspiring stories that celebrate the diversity at Hexaware.
Hexawarians from across our global offices, showcase their
unique stories. Diversity and inclusion in their lives - be it
work life balance, overcoming challenges or just being a proud
Hexawarian were the focus of the stories for this year. These
powerful stories demonstrated our unity of purpose, guiding
principles, actions and decisions. Our inclusive culture is an
asset for us and we have been working hard to build an
ecosystem where acceptance, opportunity and collective
growth can come to life.

WE CELEBRATE
DIFFERENT
A truly diverse and inclusive company culture is about being
proactive and creating an environment of acceptance.
At Hexaware, we celebrate this culture. Embracing diversity
and incorporating it into the overall corporate ethos has always
been our mantra. In the last quarter of the year, all locations
celebrated a festival of a different country to reiterate our
commitment to making Hexaware the epitome of an inclusive
community. We wanted to embrace a collective mind-set that
not just accepts differences but respects and celebrates them.
The idea is to create a culture in which gender, ethnicity,
sexuality, disability, thoughts and ideas are not roadblocks to
career progression and have a fair representation in the
workplace. This initiative was loved by all locations and it was
wonderful to see the great lengths our people went to - to
celebrate a festival that was important to their colleagues in
another part of the world!

BPS - DIWALI & HALLOWEEN!
Our BPS locations across the globe
celebrated Diwali and Halloween
with great aplomb.
On behalf of the entire CS
leadership team, we would like to
convey our heartfelt gratitude
towards the HR team for organizing
and executing the festivities such as
Diwali and Halloween that were
celebrated recently at our
respective locations. The events
have been well received by all our
staff and they look forward to us
organizing many more meaningful
and diversified events.

“ 14 nationalities working together
at Hexaware Dubai has led to
Higher Employee Engagement”
Hexaware had a Halloween activity
called Spook-tacular Spook-tacle.
The employees were very game in
taking part in the team contests and
made a lot of effort preparing for their
costumes. Three teams joined the
Best-Themed team contest and US Air
team from The Travel Corporation
emerged as the Best Team with their
The Purge theme. The Best in Costume
went to Effy de Leon, a team leader,
also from The Travel Corporation.
Treats were given out to all which the
employees enjoyed like kids.
On behalf of the Citi PnR
teams, I would like to thank
the HR team for organising the
employee engagement events
on the Diwali day and the
Halloween day. The whole
program was well received by
the team and it certainly does
break the monotony of work
to participate in such
activities. Hopefully in the
upcoming Yuva programs we
will able to witness such
energy from everyone.

EUROPE - DIWALI
The Diwali Spirit reverberated in every
corner of our Europe centers, which
culminated in the team winning the
Diversity Trophy!
“It was a great opportunity for us to get to know
Indian history a little bit closer and Indian art of
celebration of one of the most important festivals.
During Diwali Festival, a lot of friends and family
members meet and celebrate together, so we could
feel a kind of friendship with our team members of
two offices. We integrated with each other with a
common view of a presentation and a movie and
then ate together Indian food and shared the sweets
on common table with colourful lights around. It was
an opportunity to invite a Customer from one of our
clients and involve him in a discussion about the
festival. He described how he celebrates it and gave
us a deeper background than we knew only from
general sources.”

AMERICA - LANTERN FESTIVAL
OUR US TEAM CELEBRATES
THE CHINESE LANTERN
FESTIVAL!
Our US team brought the spirit of the Chinese
Lantern festival to their home ground. The
lanterns came in different shapes and sizes
and lit up the US skies, symbolizing
our wishes for a bright future!
“It was the first time that an onsite team came
together to celebrate a festive occasion. I personally
witnessed the excitement amongst the teams. Though
it was not an ideal day (weather wise) to set lanterns
flying in the sky, it still did not dampen the excitement
and we all had a great time together celebrating this
occasion. We all knew that this year Diversity is one of
the main themes of Hexaware, but no one thought
that we would embed that through cross cultural
celebrations. Kudos to the team that came out with
this idea and looking forward to seeing how other
regions celebrate their festivals.”

MEXICO - GANESH CHATURTHI
The Mexico Team celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi
with great fervor and enthusiasm heralding a
future filled with prosperity
and wisdom!
“It was amazing and thrilling to see the pictures &
videos of the colorful ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’
celebrations at our Saltillo center. It was indeed
overwhelming to watch some of our Mexican
colleagues performing a wonderful cultural
dance with full cultural attire. Excellent and way
to go guys! We are proud of our Diversity.”!!

SINGAPORE - OKTOBERFEST
OUR SINGAPORE TEAM
CELEBRATES OKTOBERFEST!
The Oktoberfest celebrations at our Singapore
office was indeed an evening to remember
with the ambience, fun and
cheer all around!
“We all love beer, but not all beer lovers are lucky enough to
celebrate Oktoberfest where it originated – Germany.
At Hexaware Singapore, we bring the world’s largest beer festival
to our members, having a great get-together. Many of us did help
out to decorate the room in white and blue color theme with Beer
Glasses which made the meeting room looked like a replica of
Munich area which is epicenter of Oktoberfest. Guessing how we
can celebrate without alcohol and what food would we have
actually make us anticipate more?
And yes, we did it. The beer was alcohol- free, we had Garlic
Breads and Vegan pizza, not forgetting the most important
pretzels. Looking at how the team enjoy the sumptuous food and
bottles of beer, having the quiz and also brought in Spotify music
spontaneously makes a great afternoon. Oktoberfest was enjoyed
thoroughly from our employee from all APAC regions and we had
representative from our Hexaware Australia, Hong Kong and
Singapore entities. It definitely leave a lasting memory that we
had beer in office, looking forward to next year’s Oktoberfest
again”.

OUR MUMBAI, PUNE &
NOIDA TEAMS CELEBRATE
DÍA DE MUERTOS!
Our India centers (Mumbai, Pune and Noida) came
alive in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy with
the grand celebration of the Mexican festival - Day of
the Dead , to demonstrate love and respect for
deceased family members.
“ Wow! Day of the Dead -What a display of the
vibrant tradition of Mexico. The altar
decorations, the skull, the masks and the
offerings would definitely have attracted the
departed souls had this been done in Mexico”!

Our India center in Chennai celebrated Halloween,
one of America’s most popular holidays. Ghoulish
decor, eerie music, cute witches and carved
pumpkins a perfect expression of
people’s creativity!
“It was amazing and thrilling to celebrate
Halloween in Chennai. It was something
that’s never been done before! Thank you for
organizing such an event -especially the
spooky decorations across the office and the
celebrations with our team were awesome.
