Rainford In Bloom<br />
<strong>Local</strong> gardening group Rainford In Bloom scooped<br />
a prestigious honour in the recent North West In<br />
Bloom Awards.<br />
Rainford In Bloom successfully secured a Gold<br />
Award in the Large Village category - the highest<br />
individual award available.<br />
Neighbours Crank Bloomers were awarded<br />
Outstanding in the Neighbourhood category.<br />
Now Rainford In Bloom are looking to the New Year,<br />
with plenty planned to get <strong>2020</strong> off to a good start.<br />
Throughout 2019 the group planned beautiful<br />
floral displays around Rainford, including the new<br />
border at the Spinney and the ever-changing<br />
Mossborough Bed. They also teamed up with the<br />
Friends of Rainford <strong>St</strong>ation to improve the overall<br />
look of the train station and to transform it into a<br />
more environmentally friendly space.<br />
