HISTORY
Amphenol was founded in the city of Chicago in 1932 by the American businessman
Arthur Schmitt.
The company expanded significantly during World War II when the company became
the leading manufacturer of military equipment of connectors including airplanes and
radios.

The Purchasing and Receipt department uses a home-made system that works based
on the needs of the company, which includes External Purchases, Internal Purchases,
Receipts and Inventories.
