Experience Minori
The village of Minori sits on the eastern side of the Amalfi Coast. While other parts of
the area (such as Positano and Amalfi) draw huge numbers of visitors, Minori has so far
managed to fly under the radar, so if you’re looking for the Amalfi Coast without the
jet-set crowds, it's worth considering as your base for exploring the region.
The sandy beach is south-facing, so gets sun all day – or if you fancy some culture,
the 1st century Villa Marittima Romana's mosaics and wall friezes are a must-see. For
refreshment, Pasticceria Sal de Riso is a local institution – stop by for a pastry or a
lemon granita.
