The journey so far ….
As a direct result of the 2018 staff survey highlighting
a need for systems training, Tees invested
in a new IT training team and a revamp of the Bishop’s
Stortford training room . The priority was to
improve new starter training in Peppermint, upskill
existing staff and then follow this up with workshops
on specific areas of expertise in the system.
As you can see, these courses have been well received
and are now running regularly.
The much promised ‘Support Days’ were also introduced
in the second half of 2019 where a member
of the IT team works from each of the office locations
for a day or a half-day. Over 45 members of
staff have booked a slot or taken advantage of a
quick session.
IT Training
All staff have received a copy of the IT Training Portfolio which outlines the schedule of courses for 2020. This is also
given to new starters. Of course, further sessions will be offered as new courses are designed.
