FLEET INFORMATIONDriving Talent are extremely proud of the fleet we provide and theup-keep to make sure it continues to run smoothly and efficiently.We understand that any fleet, of any standard, requires theknowledge and hard-work to maintain it.Below you will find all the information needed to understand moreabout our fleet and how Driving Talent preserve it.VehiclesWe have a modern fleet of tractor units available at our disposableand ready to meet your requirements, including a mixture of Volvo,Globe Trotter and Mercedes Attros. All of our vehicles are a 68 plateregistration and in full white colour.Height: 16 x 2Weight: 44 tonneMaintenanceDriving Talenthave accessto on-siteworkshopfacilities at ourhead-office.We also havefurther coverthroughbusinesssupplier, Marcol(more below).O LicenceWe have an O licence which covers our entire fleet.Breakdown CoverPlease see below breakdown cover provided by Marcol:Breakdowns.We have a 24 hour breakdown line. This goes through to our officein the daytime, in which it’s best to ask for the fleet department. It’sthen diverted to a member of our team after 6pm and we will be oncall throughout the night. We’ll try to diagnose faults over the phonewhere applicable to avoid waiting for a repairer, however when thisisn’t possible we will call a breakdown company to attend.Page 2
We have repairers all over the country so we can get it sorted in the vast majority of places.Depending on the severity we will get it repaired roadside but in the rare occasion thatrecovery is required we will either get the vehicle into the nearest garage or get it back toLeicester. A replacement may be supplied if required.Standard ETA for all repairers is 60-90 minutes depending on location and traffic etc.The breakdown number is 01509 881 644. All breakdown details will be on a fixed sign inthe cab of each truck.TyresTyres are very similar to breakdowns inthe respect that the call out time is 60-90 minutes. We are on a contract withBridgestone so we must be aware of all tyredefects so we can arrange the job to becompleted by them. We carry out all tyrereplacements at operating depot’s and alsohave a roadside facility in the event of a blowout or if the tyre is not road worthy.PMI’s & ServicingWe schedule PMI’s on a 6 week cycle. Weare happy for you to inspect our vehicles andcharge us accordingly. Alternatively we canarrange for an inspection to be done onsiteor to be booked in at a local garage.We tend to email a week before to optimisetime in getting this arranged.Response TimeFlat rate of 60-90 minutes. This may bequicker but sometimes may be longer butwe’ll work hard to avoid that happening.VOR VehiclesIf a vehicle becomes ‘VOR’ we should be able to supply a replacement depending on theavailability in our fleet. As you’re not far away we can help you as much as possible withthis.Page 3
