Driving Talent Ltd offer one of the most professional traction services
In the East midlands, we supply a modern, clean fleet of vehicles
that are driven by professional drivers that have been fully assessed
at our HQ in the heart of Leicester.
Our fleet is driven to support your business on a regular or adhoc
basis.
We have built strong local
relationships with our traction
services and currently have
a number of vehicles out
regularly completing all types
of work including general
trunking, store drops, timed
deliveries and specialist that
require ADR, Moffett or HIAB.
Our vehicles work around the
clock to ensure our clients’
needs are met to a high
standard.
With our flexibility available to
business we can tailor our traction
services to your needs this also
includes our insurances, already
have a goods in transit and freight
insurance which can be changed to
met with your requirements.

FLEET INFORMATION
Driving Talent are extremely proud of the fleet we provide and the
up-keep to make sure it continues to run smoothly and efficiently.
We understand that any fleet, of any standard, requires the
knowledge and hard-work to maintain it.
Below you will find all the information needed to understand more
about our fleet and how Driving Talent preserve it.
Vehicles
We have a modern fleet of tractor units available at our disposable
and ready to meet your requirements, including a mixture of Volvo,
Globe Trotter and Mercedes Attros. All of our vehicles are a 68 plate
registration and in full white colour.

Maintenance
Driving Talent
have access

head-office.
We also have
further cover
through

supplier, Marcol
(more below).
O Licence
We have an O licence which covers our entire fleet.
Breakdown Cover

Breakdowns.
We have a 24 hour breakdown line. This goes through to our office
in the daytime, in which it’s best to ask for the fleet department. It’s
then diverted to a member of our team after 6pm and we will be on
call throughout the night. We’ll try to diagnose faults over the phone
where applicable to avoid waiting for a repairer, however when this
isn’t possible we will call a breakdown company to attend.

We have repairers all over the country so we can get it sorted in the vast majority of places.
Depending on the severity we will get it repaired roadside but in the rare occasion that
recovery is required we will either get the vehicle into the nearest garage or get it back to
Leicester. A replacement may be supplied if required.
Standard ETA for all repairers is 60-90 minutes depending on location and traffic etc.
The breakdown number is 01509 881 644. All breakdown details will be on a fixed sign in
the cab of each truck.
Tyres
Tyres are very similar to breakdowns in
the respect that the call out time is 60-
90 minutes. We are on a contract with
Bridgestone so we must be aware of all tyre
defects so we can arrange the job to be
completed by them. We carry out all tyre
replacements at operating depot’s and also
have a roadside facility in the event of a blow
out or if the tyre is not road worthy.
PMI’s & Servicing
We schedule PMI’s on a 6 week cycle. We
are happy for you to inspect our vehicles and
charge us accordingly. Alternatively we can
arrange for an inspection to be done onsite
or to be booked in at a local garage.
We tend to email a week before to optimise
time in getting this arranged.
Response Time
Flat rate of 60-90 minutes. This may be
quicker but sometimes may be longer but
we’ll work hard to avoid that happening.
VOR Vehicles
If a vehicle becomes ‘VOR’ we should be able to supply a replacement depending on the
availability in our fleet. As you’re not far away we can help you as much as possible with
this.

STAFF INFORMATION
Driving Talent provide all of their staff with everything they require to ensure
the job is done to the very high standard we demand. Through this, we believe
Driving Talent allow all staff, in particular drivers, to achieve a consistent level of
performance on a daily basis.
Please find below a list of resources available to all Driving Talent driving staff
and the resources Driving Talent will provide their clients with:
Assessments
Driving Talent conduct extremely thorough driving assessments with each and
every driving member of staff. These assessments are conducted by either John
Brownhill (Training Manager) or a competent member of the training team.
Driving Licences
All driving licences are dealt with in the same manner and will be systematically
checked for accidents, points and more. Once deemed appropriate to become a
member of our traction services team, a copy of the licence will be sent to our
clients for further inspection.
DVSA Checks
We will conduct 6 week PMI inspections and use Driving Talent vehicle
technicians or reputable local business suppliers.
Workwear/ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Driving Talent work closely with local workwear business, WorkStuff UK Ltd.
Working with a local business allows for quicker delivery times and collection if
required.
We provide all of our staff with the correct PPE to ensure maximum safety at all
times.
Tacho Cards
Tacho cards are downloaded on a weekly basis. The vehicles are downloaded on
a fortnightly basis. All are analysed through the tacho master system.
24/7 Contact Information
Driving Talent will have someone on stand-by either in the office or by mobile to
answer any queries you may have. Our promise.
