RAN Network Design Concepts

• In a RAN network design, networking, resource allocation,

transmission, interfaces, bandwidth, QoS, and OM of operators'

network is planned by considering factors, including costs,

network performance, reliability, maintainability, and evolution

capability of operators' equipment rooms, transmission, and

devices.

The first-line NIS acts as the owner of the network design delivery. The HQ NIS

network design team provides remote supports. The R&D and network design joint

team acts as the third-line to support the HQ NIS. If the first-line NIS needs

supports to solve problems, it must submit an "iCare" list stating the problems. The

second-line team is HQ NIS-solution Wireless GUL-TMO PSE.
