This exciting four-day trip to Washington DC extends the classroom education allowing<br />
students the opportunity to see, touch and feel our nation’s Capital. <strong>Student</strong>s will travel by<br />
modern motor coach, spend 3 nights in first class accommodations, and enjoy the sights of<br />
the city. <strong>Tours</strong> of the city will include: the three branches of Government, the Smithsonian<br />
Natural History and Air and Space Museums, the Great Monuments, Arlington Cemetery<br />
and more! All meals while in DC couple with evening activities make this inclusive package<br />
a chance of a lifetime for students. The following information details the trip.<br />
SCHEDULE<br />
Day 1 Morning departure from the school and travel to Washington. Snacks and drinks are<br />
included along the way as well as rest breaks and a stop for lunch. Hotel check-in at our<br />
Washington DC area hotel upon arrival with time for a refresher. The tours begin with an<br />
orientation tour including a stop at the Jefferson Memorial and the MLK Memorial. Dinner<br />
is included at Pentagon City Mall before returning to the hotel.<br />
Day 2 Breakfast and we have a full day to tour the city: The White House, Capitol Hill (the<br />
Supreme Court, US Capitol and Library of Congress), the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII<br />
Memorial. Lunch on your own followed by a visit to the US Holocaust Museum Memorial.<br />
Next a visit to the National Archives. Dinner included tonight, followed by an Illumination<br />
Tour, including stops at the Iwo Jima Marine Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the<br />
Franklin Roosevelt Monument.<br />
Day 3 Breakfast and our tours continue. We visit Arlington National Cemetery for the<br />
“Changing of the Guard” at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a stop at JFK’s gravesite.<br />
See the flags of the world as you drive down Embassy Row to the National Cathedral, the<br />
sixth largest Gothic Cathedral in the world that took over 80 years to construct. Lunch on<br />
your own followed by an afternoon at the Smithsonian: the American History Museum,<br />
Natural History, Air & Space Museum. Dinner and an evening activity included tonight.<br />
Day 4 Breakfast and hotel check out this morning. Morning tour of Mount Vernon, the home<br />
of George Washington. Depart for home. A lunch break will be scheduled (on your own).<br />

GENERAL INFORMATION Requested trip dates are subject to<br />
availability. All prices in this catalog are based on 40 paid participants. All day<br />
trips include a morning and afternoon snack, lunch, and a <strong>Kelly</strong> <strong>Tours</strong> T-shirt.<br />
All overnight trips include lodging (quad occupancy/two beds), tours, evening<br />
activities, admissions, and most meals. All of our motor coaches depart from<br />
one of our six locations: Savannah, GA, Brunswick, GA, Macon, GA, Charleston,<br />
SC, and Jacksonville, FL. We are happy to serve groups outside these locations.<br />
Trip departure and return points are determined by the lead teacher and school.<br />
