Kasbani said the activity of Mount Bromo was still in alert status. Residents are encouraged
to stay away from the active crater of Mount Bromo within a radius of 1 km.
“PVMBG announce on people around Mount Bromo, visitors, tourists, and climbers not to
enter the active Bromo crater area within a 1 kilometer radius,” he said
