Innovation with Tradition
Tropic Isle Living is the Original, Pure and Traditional Jamaican Black
Castor Oil introduced to the world 25 years ago by the Co-Founders,
late Michael Hines and Lois Reid-Hines.
Tropic Isle Living coined the term “Jamaican Black Castor Oil” which
is commonly used today and used globally. Since 1992 we’ve grown,
formulated and produced high quality plant-based hair, skin and body
care products.

LOTIONS - Essentially the main ingredients in lotion are water, oil and synthetic
compounds that unify the elements. This mixture often includes alcohol which
can evaporate the moisturizing effects of water and actually further dehydrate
skin. It’s the oil in lotion that actually moisturizes the skin, so why not use
it directly and skip the harsh chemicals?
