HOW TO CHOOSE
YOUR HAYTER®
Making mowing a pleasure starts by choosing the
right Hayter® lawnmower for your lawn size, choosing
between a preference for stripes or no stripes, and
finally, if you have a preference for electric or petrol
power. We judge a small lawn as 1 tennis court in size
or less. Medium lawns 1 to 2 tennis courts. Large lawns
over 2 tennis courts. As a guide, a tennis court is about
15 paces by 30 paces. So if you need to, using this
as a guide, walk your lawn area to find out if yours
is classed as a small, medium or large lawn.

technology. This intelligent system recognises
the temperature of the engine and primes the
starting process accordingly. Which means you
don’t have to fiddle with choke settings.
ReadyStart® engines also benefit from the Briggs
& Stratton® S2 Guarantee. This guarantees that
your engine will start within two pulls every time.

pull-cord and switch to electric start instead.
The InStart® system provides up to 50 starts on a
single 60 minute charge. Lithium-ion technology
means it’ll hold its charge for several months too.

The design engineers at Hayter® combine the latest in computer
aided technology with traditional craftsmanship. Making mowing
a pleasure is about ease of operation and outstanding cutting and
collection performance. It’s about ergonomics and weight distribution
so even our largest lawnmowers are perfectly counterbalanced for
better manoeuvrability; about having rear rollers in two sections
that counter rotate on a turn to avoid churning your lawn,
and about meticulous design and engineering to minimise
noise and vibration in operation.

a deck mounted hose pipe connector
that when connected, washes out the
underside of the cutting deck. Used after
each cut, you’ll never have to scrape
dried and clogged clippings out from
around the blade again.
King of the blades
Our latest blade designs are a revolution.
Designed to work in harmony with the
underside profiles of our new Harrier® models,
each blade has been meticulously engineered
to ensure the best acceleration of air to create
a much more powerful flow and collection
performance. Clippings exit from the top right
of the grass collection aperture minimising
clogging and ensuring the grass bags are filled
to the brim like never before.

When you store your mower over Winter,
the ethanol in the fuel can evaporate making
starting harder in the Spring. Mixing a fuel
stabiliser in with your new fuel protects the
engine from rust and corrosion and the build-up
of gum for up to 12 months. After the last mow
of the year drain, all the fuel from the tank.
