What part of the story does your graphic novel depict?
The part of the book I chose was the Drive-In scene. Its where Ponyboy and Cherry met and they got to know
each other better and when they got deep. This scene also includes where Dally got rejected by Cherry and
Marcia, Cherry didn’t like Dally so she was sassy.
Why did you choose this particular content?
I chose this particular scene because it was the one that spoke to me and dragged me in. It had the most going on
in my opinion and it interested me. The fact that you had a Soc and a Greaser, that came together and talked for
pretty much the whole night about differences and how they got to know each other, was very intriguing.
Especially since they came from different parts of town and in reality, they aren’t supposed to talk to each other
period because of their differences.
What did you learn while completing this project?
I learned a lot of things during this project. I learned how to set up a google drawing and I learned many different
tech things you can do with a computer and program. There are so many cool things that you can do to a google
document and make it look how you want it, and also make it to describe your style. I’ve learned how to do those
things and its awesome t0 know how to make it your own.
