Cable car tickets and reservation
Take a cable car to the summit of Lomnicky Peak
(2,634 meters above sea level) and spend an
unforgettable evening in one of two traditional
wooden apartments, which by their location are the
highest situated apartments in Slovakia.
Take a cable car to Hrebienok, the beauty of ice has
found its home – it is home of the traditional TATRY ICE
MASTER championships. Sculptors from ten countries
will be breathing life into 50 tonnes of ice and
changing them to 35 unique ice sculptures. An
eventful programme is prepared during whole winter
for all visitors.

Wine and Gourment gems
Wine tour Tokaj
Tokaj is the smallest wine-growing
region in Slovakia (area of 907 ha) and
the world. Wines coming from this area
are of high quality, have their ancient
history, unique taste and smell. Its route
leads through the historical area around
Trebišov through seven villages of the
Trebišov district and belongs to the category of
natural and cultural heritage. In addition to visiting
seven villages, traveling along the road also includes
meetings with wine growers and producers,
craftsmen, sightseeing of cultural and historical
monuments, wine shops, wine bars.
The rarity of the wine route is the medieval Tokaj
cellars carved into volcanic tuff rocks. The cellars date
back to the period of the Turkish wars, when they
were built as shelters from robberies. Some cellars are
carved to a depth of 8 to 16 m.
Whisky tour
The first slovak whisky producer in situated in one of
the most beautiful parts of northern Slovakia. You can
find out about the old history of traditional crafts and
distillation dating back to the twelfth century at the
Nestville Park exhibition, which comprises three
sections:
Historical section, where examples of folk crafts
associated with distillation are presented. Modern
section, where one of the most modern alcohol
producing refineries in Europe is presented. Traditional
section in Rezbárska sála (Woodcarving Hall) with a
hand carved picture and store rooms for maturing
whisky. Tasting of the first Slovak Nestville whisky is
available in this part of the exhibition.
The gastronomic gems
of the Tatra region
Lets enjoy the most delicious gastronomic gems of the Tatra region, from culinary
specialties in classic design to innovative culinary delicacies. Mountain
region is famed for its mealy dishes „Halušky“ (gnocchi) served with
sheep’s cheese and bacon and „Pirohy“ filled with potatos and
sheep’s cheese and served with bacon and sour cream. Local
restaurants also feature excellent international cuisine.
