With a focus on science,<br />
technology, and design,<br />
these Discoveries are<br />
hands-on and experiential.<br />
Past STEM Discoveries<br />

CSI Baker and Myth<br />

Music Makers<br />
Baker’s own music master<br />
and professional musician,<br />
Dr. Courville, will<br />
lead campers through a<br />
musical journey this summer.<br />
Campers will explore<br />
different types of sound,<br />
including percussion,<br />
strings and winds, while<br />
creating their own unique<br />
musical instruments and<br />
soundscapes.<br />
Nature Explorers<br />
Our nature explorers<br />
learn about ecosystems,<br />
animals and their habitats,<br />
and the important work<br />
of insects through handson<br />
experiences inside and<br />
outside the classroom.<br />
New for 2020<br />
Our Counselor in Training<br />
(CIT) program is for<br />
rising eighth-10th graders<br />
who want to gain work experience<br />
and earn volunteer<br />
hours. Supported by<br />
experienced counselors,<br />
CITs swim, play, read and<br />
explore with our littlest<br />
campers, all while learning<br />
valuable job skills.<br />
Weeks of Aug. 10 and<br />
Aug. 17<br />
This year’s Baker Bonus<br />
Weeks will be led by<br />
our second grade associate<br />
teacher, Moira Gitau.<br />
Camp will be run in a similar<br />
fashion to the Summer<br />
Discovery Camp with a<br />
project-based learning activity<br />
in the morning followed<br />
by outdoor sports,<br />
arts and swimming in the<br />
afternoon.<br />
