announces the addition to the USB connector product offering with the release of USB Type-C right angle receptacles.

Stewart Connector offers two USB Type-C receptacles with different PCB thickness options. Both options include both

SMT and through hole signal pins. Stewart USB Type-C connectors are designed to support data speeds up to 10 Gbps

for USB 3.1 Gen 2. The USB Type-C connector design has plug/play capabilities where hot insertion/ejection may occur

without issue, under a load. USB Type-C connectors are rated to withstand a peak current of 1.5A per contact.

Stewart’s USB Type-C connectors are designed to meet the industries increasing demand for economic solutions where

space and faster data rates are a premium. These small form factor, very robust and highly reliable USB connectors are

used in IoT devices, laptops and other consumer devices.
