I feel strongly aboutsupporting other small local businesses,giving people a platform and showcasingsome of the great talent and creativity wehave in this city.’The studio also showcases the kitchencollection by Keller, a Dutch manufacturerwho have been manufacturing kitchenssince 1946. Scott told me, ‘There is acomprehensive collection of kitchen stylesfrom true handle-less, sleek modern timbersto traditional shaker styles. Sitting alongsidewe have our home interiors and lifestylefurniture from Pianca, and a gorgeouscollection of contemporary furniture for livingand sleeping spaces.’They also showcase wall coverings fromTektura, Newmor and Designers Guildalong with paint by Craig & Rose, (who havesupplied the paint for the forth rail bridgesince it was constructed).Scott is also an advocate for working withfellow designers, he said, ‘Collaboration isreally important, not only to support otherdesigners but also to open up a huge rangeof services, knowledge and expertise to ourclients. Collaboration brings new ideas tothe table, inspires and adds to the creativeprocess ultimately resulting in a cohesivescheme which is rigorously considered,well specified and reflects the client’spersonality and style.’So it really is a win-win for the designers,artists and retailers to be working together.Not only does it help showcase theirproducts and services, but it’s also great forus consumers as we get access to a unique
