ANY HMI CONVERTED TO PROFACE
The most difficult part of migrating to another brand of hmi is the conversion
costs. Vendors used to do this for free, it is 2020 and nothing remains the
same. They will still do this if you have like 100 units, but what if you only
have a few? There are also plenty of automated conversion tools, but most of
them do not work based on our testing. Our solution is $60* per hour on the
conversions. This is a great price for engineering and will last all of 2020.
A. You have a copy of the original program:
• Awesome, this helps tremendously and will save a great deal
of effort and cost.
B. You have a printed copy of the original program:
• No problem, this just means more work and we will need to
make sure all of the information is available to proceed.
C. You have nothing but an hmi looking at you:
• Again, no problem, this just means a lot more work and we will
need to make sure all of the information is available to proceed
including a visit to possibly pull the program out.

* An application review based on A to C (situations listed above) will need to be
completed prior to proceeding with special cost.
