2018 HIGHLIGHTSAnti-Bullying ConferenceWe held an Anti-Bullying in Schoolconference to promote awareness and toprovide tools on identifying and combatinginstances of bullying.We gave proponent testimony on an anti-bullying bill in the State House and helpedstrengthen the bill to better protect Muslimstudents.We continued the 15th year of our monthly“Feeding Families” initiative, which providesCreating lanterns for Interfaith Iftarfood for nearly 200 homeless adults andchildren.We trained attorneys across Ohio throughcontinuing legal education seminars onWe participated in a three-day civil rightstopics related to religious accommodationeducational tour and attended theinauguration of the National Memorial forfor Muslims.Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama.We gave presentations throughout the yearon Islam and Muslims at universities,churches, corporations, libraries, schools,and other places.We were a leading partner in organizingthe 2nd Annual “Interfaith March for Peaceand Justice” to ensure that Columbusremains a welcoming city for all.We were the chief organizers of the“Families Belong Together” rally to protestthe Trump Administration’s policy of familyAlabama Civil Rights Tripseparation. The rally was attended by1,000+ people.9
