A YEAR OF EXPECTANCY
As we continue to develop as a church, we also have grown as
leaders–not just in our community, but in our families, in our
own spiritual journeys and in the truth, joy and love of Christ.
Throughout 2019, God has been so good to us, here at
Westtown Church. It’s been incredible to be able to walk
alongside you this past year, as we have continued to
learn about the undeniable love our Savior has for us,
and for each of you–through spiritual, relational and
emotional growth.
Because of your commitment to this local church, we
have been able to:
Preach the gospel to those who do not yet know Jesus.
Make disciples and create community opportunities through
Life Groups, Bible studies and many outreach events.
Raise up children to come to know and love the Lord, and
we have guided and trained up our youth into becoming
mature young men and women in their faith.
Support young mothers in need.
Provide needed relief to victims of natural disasters.
Help serve those in need in our community and abroad.
While it’s always important to reflect on where God has
taken us in the past, let’s not forget to also be expectant
and excited for where He has us headed in the future. As
we celebrated our Church
Vision Night this past September, we shared plans of
expansion and growth, by finishing our existing buildings,
expanding our preschool and the
future construction of a community
life gym facility.
As we continue pursuing Him in 2020,
let us always remember that His plans
are greater than our own. Our hope
and plan for the year ahead is that we
continue investing in our most valuable
asset–our people. Without you,
Westtown doesn’t exist and ceases to
serve a purpose.

COMMUNITY & DISCIPLESHIP
Community is the heartbeat of our mission at Westtown Church.
God has blessed our church richly with people who care for
others and build their faith upon the support of others.
Participating in the men’s mission
trip to the Dominican Republic last
year was an incredible experience!
It was because of God’s grace, and
the selfless love that I saw from so
many people, that I rededicated my
life to serving Christ. The biggest
surprise of all was that I never
could have guessed that a trip like
this would bring 7 very different
guys together to form such a strong
bond that will last a lifetime.

The women at Westtown are always
ready to drop to their knees and
pray for anyone who asks. This
past year they have showed me
how God has been working in my
life when I needed it most. This
continuously encourages me to
pour the love of Jesus into others,
as they do into all of us. I am truly
blessed to be part of the Westtown
community.

SERVING & OUTREACH
By serving others, you have blessed an immeasurable amount
of people in and around our community. You have displayed

Working in Kids’ Town has made
my life richer. It’s great to walk
down the hall and know so many
of the kids by name. After 5
years, I am now seeing students
I taught as 1st graders becoming
Middle School age. It’s incredibly
rewarding to see them still sharing
their faith with others.

Serving on the Connections
Team has been a great way for
me to really get involved and feel
at home at Westtown. It’s been a
great experience making others
feel welcome every Sunday, and
I’ve made a lot of new friends
along the way.

PRESCHOOL, KIDS & STUDENTS
The next generation at Westtown is paving the way for others,
by learning who Christ is, how to live a life devoted to Him and
what it takes to lead others to know Him.
Westtown Christian Academy is
more than a place that Fernando
and I send our children to school, it
is like an extended family. Through
attending Westtown Church, our
children attending Westtown
Christian Academy, serving at
KidsTown, and taking advantage of
the Bible studies offered, our faith as
a family continues to grow in Christ.
We are forever thankful for our
Westtown family and community.

Westtown student ministries has
given me a second home and
a safe place to be myself while
worshiping around my brothers
and sisters in Christ. I’ve seen God
change the lives of people around
me and personally change my life.
Life Groups are my favorite part–
they allow you to truly get to know
people in a smaller group setting
and walk with them through the
highs and lows of life.

GIVING & GENEROSITY
Being a generous church is more than just meeting the budget
numbers–it’s about developing people’s hearts into giving away
what’s been given to them, so that God can do even more.
Tithing has impacted our family in
many ways. Six years ago we had
to choose between tithing or going
into debt. It was a difficult decision,
but in the end, we chose to tithe. It
was a scary time for us financially,
but God provided in the most
extraordinary ways. Doing so made
our faith stronger, as the Good Lord,
time and time again, has shown us–
when we are faithful to Him, he is
faithful and loving to us.

We put our faith in God, that no
matter what, he will provide for our
needs and keep us exactly where
He wants us. We view our tithe as
a reflection of how we trust in God
for how awesome and merciful
He has been to us. At the end of
the day, everything we have in
this life is a gift and not our own,
and this life is a living sacrifice to
Jesus our Lord and Savior. To God
be the glory!

FINANCIAL OVERVIEW
Every financial gift given to Westtown supports various ministries of our church, our local community,
and our other ministry partners. We could not do this without you and our leadership is overwhelmingly
grateful for your financial partnership. We look expectantly to the next year of ministering together.
