Welcome to this month’s newsletter. We are now

approaching the start of British Summertime with the

onset of the clocks going forward towards the end of

March.

Enfield Borough is focused on the drive to reduce

Burglaries, Thefts of and from Motor Vehicles amongst

other crimes and you are our eyes and ears in helping

to ensure that simple preventative measures are

implemented to deter offenders from targeting your

homes and those of your neighbours. Please ensure

that you look out for those who live in your street, if you

see anything suspicious, please make us aware.

Your Designated Ward Officers are available to speak

to in case you require crime prevention advice. You

can also meet with them at regular planned meetings,

the details of which are available on our newly updated

website.

Crimes Recorded in February

Burglary

There were 12 residential burglaries, 3 attempted

residential burglaries, 2 non - residential burglaries

reported this month.

HOOD AVENUE, 2 nd February – 12:30am – 7am

Suspects forced front door with unknown tool, car

keys and Mercedes C200 stolen

LOUSADA LODGE, AVENUE ROAD, 20 th January –

8am – 3rd February - 2pm

Victim believes 6 pairs of spectacles, 6 pairs of

trousers, 6 shirts, an alarm clock and a radio have

been stolen, no sign of forced entry.

MERRIVALE, 8th February – 1pm – 9 th February –

10am

Suspect forced front porch UPVC door, and then

internal window before exiting via internal garage,

nothing taken.

WESTPOLE AVENUE, 13th February – 12:15am –

12:25am

Two suspects entered porch and stole two pairs of

trainers.

CRESCENT EAST, 11th February – 9:32pm

Two suspects knocked on victim’s door, one suspect

punched victim when he opened door, both suspects

prevented from gaining entry and ran to a waiting dark

coloured Audi A3 which then made off.

HOOD AVENUE, 14th February – 2:45am

Front pane of glass in double glazed kitchen window

smashed.

BRAMLEY ROAD, 13th February – 6:30pm – 14 th

February – 8am

Business premises accessed from rear, laptop and

cash stolen.

TRENT GARDENS, 13th February – 5:30pm – 14 th

February – 6:30am

Suspects entered via storm damaged fencing at rear,

tyres taken from garage.

WESTPOLE AVENUE, 6th February – 8am – 20 th

February - 7:45am

Lock up unit broken into, camera and lighting

equipment stolen.

LOUSADA LODGE, AVENUE ROAD, 1st January –

9am – 5pm

Unknown suspect threw brick at kitchen window

smashing it, nothing taken.

BRAMLEY ROAD, 9th February – 10pm – 22 nd

February - 12:30am

Suspects smashed rear door, nothing taken.

DUCHY ROAD, 22nd February – 8pm – 8:25pm

Suspects accessed property via a flat roof at rear,

alarm activated, suspects left through bathroom

window.

LOWER KENWOOD AVENUE, 23rd February –

8:30pm

Suspects used a ladder to access rear balcony

and force window, not sure if anything taken.

BRAMLEY ROAD, 22 nd February – 2pm – 24 th

February – 7am

Ground floor window smashed, property being

renovated.


SOUTH LODGE DRIVE, 15th February – 4:04am

Victim reported seeing a male on their Ring

doorbell CCTV footage approach their property

and attempt to open the front door, he failed and

he and another male are seen walking away,

getting into a grey BMW and speeding off.

GLOUCESTER GARDENS, 28th February –

6:28pm – 6:42pm

Suspects forced front door and stole high value

jewellery and personal documents.

EBONY CRESCENT, 28th January – 6pm – 29 th

February – 9am

Suspects stole a bicycle from communal bicycle

storage area.

Motor Vehicle

There were 21 thefts from motor vehicles and 0 thefts

of motor vehicle reported in February.

TRENT GARDENS, 4th February – 8pm – 5th

February – 6am

Suspect used a tool to force driver’s door, bag

containing work uniform and keys stolen.

CATHERINE COURT, 6th February – 9pm – 7 th

February - 6am

Driver’s side window damaged, packet of cigarettes

stolen.

NCP, BRAMLEY ROAD, 7th February – 12:15am -

1:15am

Driver’s side window smashed, aftershaves and small

change taken.

CHASE ROAD, 6th February – 5pm – 7 th February –

6am

Two side windows smashed, small change taken..

ELLERY HOUSE, CHASE ROAD, 6th February –

10pm – 7 th February – 5pm

Passenger side window smashed, not sure if anything

taken.

DEBOHUN AVENUE, 10th February – 12:01am – 6am

Passenger side window smashed, small change taken.

BRAMLEY ROAD, 10th February – 4:15pm – 9:15pm

Catalytic converter stolen from Lexus.

FRESHFIELD DRIVE, 7th February – 4:30pm – 14 th

back passenger side window smashed, mobile phone

holder taken.

COCKFOSTERS ROAD, 15th February – 1pm –

4:45pm

Passenger side window smashed, Blue disabled

badge, and sunglasses taken.

COCKFOSTERS ROAD, 15th February – 9:15am

– 8:40pm

Blue disabled badge, and £30 cash taken.

Catalytic converter stolen from Toyota Auris

BELGRAVE GARDENS, 20th February – 4am – 7am

Van broken into, tools stolen.

OAKWOOD PARADE, 13th February – 5:30pm –

10:30pm

Passenger side window smashed, nothing taken.

SOUTH LODGE DRIVE, 15th February – 4am –

4:05am

Suspect seen on CCTV removing wing mirror from car

on drive..

CHALK LANE, 27th February – 8:44pm – 11:20pm

Rear window smashed, laptop stolen.


GREEN ROAD 12th February – 7:55am - 8:10am

Side window smashed, phone charger and cash taken.

BEECH HILL, 27th February – 5:25pm – 5:30pm

Catalytic converter stolen from Honda Jazz

PRINCE GEORGE AVENUE, 27th February – 4pm –

29 th February – 9am

Jacket stolen from boot of car.

COCKFOSTERS ROAD, 29th February – 8pm –

9:10pm

Back passenger window smashed, Louis Vuitton bag

stolen.

PRINCE GEORGE AVENUE, 29th February – 6pm –

11:35pm

Vehicle entered by unknown means, loose change,

and two phone chargers stolen.

COWPER GARDENS, 29th February – 3:30pm –

5:10pm

Van side door lock forced, power tools stolen.

There was one commercial robbery reported in

February.
