Designed to ensure you are prepared to treat all GI bleeding or closure
situations, wherever you are in the GI tract.
The OTSC® System is intended for:
• Endoscopic treatment of
gastrointestinal hemorrhage
• Closure of acute wall lesions
• Closure of chronic wall lesions
Tried, Tested & Trusted
• The OTSC® System has been featured on the cover of
multiple peer-reviewed journals
• To date, there have been over 400 clinical publications
on the OTSC® System confirming clinical effectiveness
in a multitude of clinical situations (peptic ulcers,
dieulafoy lesions, Mallory Weiss tears, fistula and
perforation closures, etc…)
• Clinical evidence indicates that OTSC® is superior to
standard treatment for high risk NVUGIB and authors
recommend OTSC® as first-line treatment for HR-AO
bleeding.
Case example: 11/6t for acute, spurting (F1a) duodenal ulcer bleeding
Functional principles of the OTSC®: dynamic compression
• The OTSC® clip is a superelastic nitinol clip which
compresses the tissue in between its teeth and enables
dynamic closure rather than static closure.
• Unlike fixed sutures, the OTSC® clip maintains
consistent compression while adapting continuously to
the thickness of the tissue; even when the volume of the
tissue is shrinking over the healing course.
• The space between the teeth allow micro-perfusion of
the clipped tissue. Therefore no necrosis of the tissue
occurs.

mini OTSC
• Smaller version of the OTSC System
• Applications – access difficulties and smaller anatomical considerations
• Designed with the ring deployment mechanism of the FTRD System
• Reduced OD maximum width of 17.13 mm (OTSC size 11) to 14.65 mm
• Compatible with endoscopes: 8.5 – 9.8 / 10 mm
• Smaller size OTSC clip: 10a und 10t – 3mm depth cap only

OTSC® Application: Suction Technique
In most GI bleeding situations, tissue can be mobilized and
securely pulled inside the application cap by simply applying
endoscopic suction. Once the target tissue is captured inside
the cap, hemostasis is achieved by simply turning the
handwheel to release the OTSC® clip around the captured
tissue.
OTSC® Application: Suction Technique
Case example: hemostasis of diverticula bleeding in the sigmoid colon (using suction)

OTSC® Application: Anchor Technique
In cases of fibrotic or hard tissue (e.g. ulcers) or
tangential application, the OTSC® Anchor can be
valuable in precisely pulling the targeted tissue
inside the cap and keeping it fixed during clip
release.

OTSC® Application: Twin Grasper® Technique
The OTSC® Twin Grasper® facilitates the
approximation of opposing edges of a lesion (e.g.
perforations) before release of the OTSC® clip. The
Twin Grasper® has two jaws that can be opened
independently of each other.
