Frost Protection Heating with thermostat

• keeps your water line frost-free to -45 ° C • integrated frost protection thermostat (switch-on temperature

approx. +5 °C, switch-off temperature approx. +13 °C) • not suitable for heating pipes • do not insulate

the thermostat when adding insulation • Protect the area animals could chew on with a bite protector

• VDE tested heating cable • 230 V • IPX7

Frost Protection Accessories

Do not mount in animal feed area unprotected - use only

Frost-protection heating lines

• prevent water pipes from freezing

• Thermostat in the heating cable switches the cable on automatically

What to remember about 230 V heating cables:

• Always attach the heating cable to the underside of the pipe

• the water pipe must be earthed

• 230 V heating cables are ready to connect and should be connected to a

power supply with a 30 mA residual current circuit breaker

• heating cables must not be shortened and should therefore be ordered

in the correct length

• Excess length can be wound around the pipe (note that a winding

distance of at least 15 mm must be maintained between coils)

• Do not bend heating cables and note the maximum bending radius of

approx. 35 mm

• heating cables can be secured to the pipe with insulating tape or aluminium

tape (222809)

• if using plastic pipes, wrap aluminium tape (222809) around the pipe

before routing the heating cable

• if using plastic pipes, please pay attention to the separate, specific

assembly instructions

• insulate the pipe and heating cable with insulation of max. 13 mm

• attach the heating cable thermostat to the coldest part of the pipe

• insulate the thermostat only moderately

• do not use 230 V heating cables in the bite area of animals

• installation must be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance

with VDE0100
