SUSTAINABILITY<br />
We take our environmental responsibilities seriously.<br />
We responsibly source materials and utilise factories that possess fair<br />
and appropriate employee conditions.<br />
Wherever possible, the waste generated from our production process<br />
is recycled. <strong>Alexander</strong> <strong>Rose</strong> are careful not to “over-package” our<br />
products and we always use recyclable packaging wherever possible.<br />
<strong>Alexander</strong> <strong>Rose</strong> have pledged to eliminate the use of all avoidable<br />
plastic waste. By the end of 2019 our objective is that there will be<br />
no single use plastic used in any of our packaging or warehouse<br />
operations.<br />

it is not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities:<br />

Illegal logging or the trade in illegal wood or forest products.<br />
Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations.<br />
Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations.<br />
Significant conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest use.<br />
Introductions of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations.<br />
Violation of any of the ILO core conventions, as defined in the ILO<br />
declaration in fundamental principles and rights at work, 1998.<br />

SINGLE USE PLASTIC POLICY<br />
Within the context of our Environmental Policy, we have made a<br />
commitment to minimising our use of plastics and beating the UK<br />
Government’s target of eliminating avoidable single-use plastic waste<br />
before 2042. Our stated intention is to eliminate the use of single-use<br />
plastic within our business by the end of summer 2019.<br />
