so when it’s a challenge with everything
that I love. My main goal is to one day
have my designs seen world wide and to
be rubbing shoulders with Jason Bolden.
He is the ultimate vision of fashion! To
see someone who worked so hard to get
to where they are today is such a huge
inspiration. I love to learn new things and
believe that knowledge is key. The fashion
designer element of me is my escape. An
escape from the day to day but an escape I
thrive on. My passions are fashion,
helping people feel good and helping the
planet. A lot of my designs are based on
this. I aim for Zero waste designs, minimal
machine sewing and the main one is
making ladies feel amazing in what they
wear. Comfort first ladies, am I right!?A
very philosophical person who doesn’t
take life too seriously, as I’m always up for
meeting new people, laughing and enjoy
life as much as I can. I instilled this in my
children too. Let them express themselves
(however loud they may get at times,
haha) and be who they want to be and
enjoy life. I’m quite the eccentric who
likes to stand out from the crowd and
walk my own catwalk with an array of
unique style’s.Ever since I can remember,
people have always said I’m the most
crazy yet humble, sometimes shy and
friendliest person they know. Being
honest, sophisticated, confident, a people
person (almost all the time), a good
listener and having a love for humanity,
people naturally gravitate towards
me. My temperament is calm and
collected but at the same time I love to
get things done. Fashion Designer and
motherhood may not go hand in hand but
I’m extremely passionate about both and
make it work.

Meeting Michealla at the show
I’ve always worked in Fashion for over 15
years. My college Diploma is in Fashion
and clothing design. My wardrobe and
draws are spilling over from my main
hobby, Shopping!!! I just love and live
fashion! I have this habit of dressing
people in my mind. Just when walking by, I
can pick out an outfit for them. My mum
calls me the fashion police, haha. I insist
on doing my husbands clothes shopping
and he trusts me to dress him well but
he’s never too keen on the prices haha...
My parents and my grandparents have
been my biggest supporters since day one
of me telling them I wanted to be a
fashion designer! My husband helped me
on this venture in the last few months to
help kick start my fashion career. Which
I’m so thankful for. Now here I am today!
My granddad would always say to me,
always looking smart little lady, Family
values mean everything to me!
