Description: LaTech Security + Surveillance is a privately owned limited liability corporation (registered as LA
TECH LLC), and has been in business since January 2001. LaTech Security + Surveillance specializes in
protecting Louisiana homes, businesses, schools and municipal facilities with integrated, leading-edge
technologies, configured by experienced industry professionals to the client’s exact requirements. The two
owners are Monica and Leland Wolf. Both are fully participating in the daily operations of the business, and have
since its inception.
Leland Wolf took his 25-year electronics background and 15 years of experience at River Bend Power Plant to
start the company in 2001. He applied his knowledge and love of photography to the commercial application for
the last 12 years. Always searching for a new technology, or new concept, he led the company into presently
expanding License Plate Recognition. This sector has allowed LaTech to develop a strong relationship with Law
Enforcement throughout the state of Louisiana.
Monica Wolf has been a multi-sector business owner and entrepreneur for over two decades, and is proud that
LaTech is a woman-owned business. Specializing in technology for the Law Enforcement sector, Monica has
most recently been appointed and currently serves as the Vice President of the Louisiana Life Safety and
Security Association (LLSSA), Region II.
Through our Brand Name Louisiana State Contract, we have developed relationships with many state agencies.
We have installed numerous campus video systems that integrate with access control. IP camera technology has
been a staple for LaTech for the last six years. We have worked closely with numerous companies who have their
own IT departments, as well as those who don't, and have learned how networks interact with these products. We
understand and respect the IT Department, and the challenges that these complex systems can create. If you're
not IT savvy, we have a dedicated IT Department that can configure all of the products and service them
remotely.
